Saffron has good non-veg food and it's beautiful but the should have AC. Even the dishes I asked if they could make zero spicy, and they said yes, was very spicy. But this is not the problem as you are in India.

This is famous for its Non vegetarian food. Tandoori Murg is great alongwith a chilled beer. The ambience is wonderful. however its a bit pricey but excellent quality of food.

Yummmyy!! The food here is to die for! Especially after being in the desert for a few days.
The views are magic and the service is friendly. Food takes a while to cook but it is worth it.
Vege pizza was so good and so were the curries we tried.
The small band playing the background music made the place really atmospheric and enjoyable.
Its not ideal for a backpacker budget but nice for a treat.

Nachana Haveli has the best restaurants in Jaisalmer – saffron which we visited for every meal. If you like Indian curries and meat, you will love this place. After hunting Jasalmer for typical Rajasthani curries we came here on a local’s recommendation. You will be surprised that most of the restaurants in Jaisalmer offer European food or Indian vegetarian food. The ones that offered Indian non vegetarian food were below average. Saffron’s a rooftop restaurant that overlooks the fort and Razia stole our hearts. The food here is extremely flavorful. They have excellent laal maas (red meat) and junglee maas (wild meat). Laal maas is a Rajasthani mutton prepration in red chili curry when is extremely fiery whereas Junglee Maas is a dry mutton preparation which is tender and spicy, but not too fiery. There were times when we came here for our second lunch or second dinner after being disappointed with our meals elsewhere.
Also, this haveli is beautiful and peaceful. I have attached some pictures of the haveli.

If your a Westerner in Jaisalmer looking for some local not-all-vegetarian food, I think you'll be quite pleased by Saffron. First, the food quality is quite good; about as tasty as any Indian food we had anywhere. Second, the setting is outstanding; this rooftop restaurant is a tranquil oasis in a town (and country) that could certainly use some more tranquility. You could barely hear the horns honking far below. Finally, the restaurant offers good value; not the cheapest meal you'll find, but quite reasonable for "fine dining" (a couple could feast for less than 1000 rupees). After trying a couple other restaurants, we returned for a second meal here. Highly recommended, despite the mediocre reviews. Curiously, the guidebook authors tend to love the place.
