Room quality is very poor, always check before ytou book the hotel or yo9u will end up paying high price getting many things not working, like SHower, A.C. , and always check about Swimming pool as it was suddenly given for maintenace without informing guests staying in Hotel. Poor response from the staff members upon raising any query.

And always attracted to attract White skins forgetting about other guests.

When all are standing to see the folk dance, chairs are offered to foreigners only, eventhough elders are standing.

Please check the location of the rooms first, or you will end up having rooms in some corners where you don't see any views and others who come later than you will have nice rooms on the 2nd floor with nice views. I think the culture of slavery is not fully eliminated from the minds of management and staff, they still believe in pleasing people based on the sking colour.

Good things - Architecture of the palace, master pieces maintained in the palace, Paintings and all.

Room Tip: Please check the location of your rooms and whether all amenities are working before you pay, or you...

We stayed here for a night in first week of July. We were given a fabulous room which was fit for royalty. The staff were very helpful and there is a no tipping culture(requested by management). You can tip at the end of your stay. The room was well decorated and the bathroom was luxurious too. The snooker room is fantastic. The swimming pool is a bonus. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The dinner was fabulous but expensive. The breakfast was average. Overall, a great place and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a luxury heritage hotel

Room Tip: Stay in the ground floor rooms.

This could and should have been a great experience given that the building is magnificent both inside and outside. However we are disappointed with the service ( the staff did not really know what was going on and we are given a 'yes' answer to any question)...

Its not just a hotel its an experience and I regret that being on business that I did not have enough time to look around the corridors which would do a museum proud.

This could and should have been a great experience given that the building is magnificent both inside and outside. However we are disappointed with the service ( the staff did not really know what was going on and we are given a 'yes' answer to any question) and the rather shabby state of the rooms. Most have been cheaply decorated and the air conditioning consists of huge portable units placed in the rooms. Also be aware that we were told that none of the rooms has an outward facing view.

This is a fascinating Maharajahs palace converted to a hotel but retains the old World atmosphere and unsurpassed architecture and decor . Its not just a hotel its an experience and I regret that being on business that I did not have enough time to look around the corridors which would do a museum proud.
The rooms are large for the most part and well equipped with good a/c, bathrooms and luxurious furniture.
Food - Dinner is good go for the signature dishes which are a real treat. Dining under the stars in the central courtyard is one of the most relaxing experiences especially if you have taken the long days drive across the desert from Jaipur. Breakfast unfortunately in common with many hotels in India is not great - at least the western style food but that is a small price for an otherwise excellent experience.

Room Tip: Some rooms to the front have wifi in the rooms although the staff appear to be unaware of that. 214...

We really enjoyed Bikaner and the Laxmi Niwas Palace is the perfect place to stay. We had a beautifull room on the ground floor opening up to the central courtyard. The dinner in the evening was served outside unde the stars. Hotel delivered good service.
