“Great Architecture”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

one of the Main and oldest temples of the Bikaner with a great architecture and great amount of work done on the stones used to build it. In the vicinity of this temple lies Laxmi Temple which is a very sacred place in hindu Religion.

“Lots of color, paintings, multi storied”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

This was different from others I had seen in that it was not made of white marble with lots of intricate carvings. It's very colorful with lots of painting and sculpture. Nice views from the top story.

“A fascinating first visit to a Jain temple”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

As others have written, the neighborhood should be considered part of the attraction. One thing that surprised us was was that grand modern-looking houses were just down the street from the temple, with an open drainage channel along the edge of the street, and goats wearing sweaters roamed nearby. Inside the small temple, every inch of wall and ceiling surface was covered with decoration. It was fascinating to walk around and appreciate the sculptured columns and detailed designs and to learn about some of the Jain beliefs from our guide. it was astonishing to learn the story of construction so long ago, by two brothers who wanted so much to leave a lasting gift. They certainly succeeded.

“lovely frescos”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

the jain temple is located in the old city part of bikaner, it is best to combine the visit of the old havelis and the temple, we hired a local tuk tuk to drive thru the narrow streets, and the driver also acted as our guide.

The temple has amazing prescos and carvings, it is small temple but well worth a visit.
