I have been to this hotel in Jan with My family, this is a kind of old palace converted into hotel, Rooms are large, clean but looks lil odd, garden n pool are good, breakfast was a big disappointment as there was no buffet breakfast and you have to order with less variety. Front area i mean drive in area is very dirty and and you feel disappointed at first. Though entire staff is good and kind. Though the location of this hotel is good but still you feel something is missing. Over all looking other options at Bikaner in this budget and location,it comes out as a winner.

We were disappointed with this hotel compared to similar priced hotel in Rajasthan. Rooms large and comfortable but impersonal. Pool and garden fine. Although dinner is very reasonably priced, the food is well below average. Breakfast very poor. Service just OK. All in all nothing special except charming owner who am sure in time will make the necessary improvements.

Stayed there on a official trip to Bikaner in May. The hotel itself is very big with a huge lawn and nice old building. The place is a old palace and resembles the palace era significantly. Coming to the review - The staff is very humble and service really very fast. Front office experience during both check in and check out was decent and there wer no hassles.

The rooms are very spacious - I stayed on 2nd floor and the room was actually a suite. One drawing room and then a big bedroom. The amenities in the room as well as the ambience of the room was perfectly fine.

Only complain I had with the hotel was that the compressor of both the AC fitted in the room were somewhere above the room and due to huge power fluctuations - the sound coming every now and then actually disturbed the whole night. Even there was no light in the lobby so that one can go and complain

Other than this horrible mistake which I am sure they will correct, the hotel was perfect

Food was authentic and rajasthani dishes were awesome

Room Tip: Ask them to give a room with no AC sounds

I stayed here for 2 nights while leading a group of photographers around Rajasthan. Many hotels don't like groups, so I can't always book my first choice.

This place has a wonderful exterior ambiance, with large gardens, a pool, a bar and tables in the courtyard. The building is impressive and the common areas are beautiful and the renovations are well done. It feels more like a resort than a hotel, and it makes me wonder who comes to Bikaner to hang around the pool and drink cocktails. Certainly not my group!

The rooms are large, and some of them are well furnished, but somehow cold. They are a little sparse with little or no personal touches that you often find in heritage places. The rooms in the part that you reach by leaving the main hotel or through the restaurant are quite noisy due to the echo in the enormous hallway. There were a few Indian business men in this wing watching TV well into the night. A couple of those rooms here do not have windows to the outside, quite unacceptable in my opinion considering the price. More rooms are located up a long set of stairs, with the rooms facing a common balcony. They are much quieter, but a little less grand than the other part of the hotel - bath tubs though!

The restaurant food is excellent, but it was hard to communicate due to meager English. I don't expect to use my native tongue everywhere I go, and can usually get by with sign language, but in a hotel of this price range, I would have expected the staff, both at the desk and in the restaurant to be a little more tourist fluent.

Would I stay here again - probably not, simply because for the price, I've stayed in nicer, friendlier places and would rather spend my money for a comfortable room (oh, did I mention, they have the most comfortable cloud like beds and duvets ever!) and free wifi than a pool and massive lawns that I'll never use.

Room Tip: Check out your room before committing, some don't have windows to the outside.

I searched on trip advisor about this hotel & found the rooms very nicely done. The manager Mr. Vikram is gem of a person. We checked in its finest Royal Suite (2 A/C units in one room), the room is very spacious and interior is good. Again the locks & doors are very royal. The restuarent of the hotel is fine & the food is also nice. The ambience of hotel seems bit rugged outside but it is excellent inside. The hotel is nicely placed in city so you can easily access any where. Railway station is near by & so is the market. Easily you can get auto also if you want. We stayed there on 3 may 2012.

Nothing much I can say but its definately worthy going there.

Thanks

Room Tip: Just go for Royal Suite for a marvellous experience.
