Lovely sweets. we liked the rosogulla and sohanpapdi. The bhujia was great too but a bit too spicy. The service was a bit slow.

The place for famous in the history of Bikaner, being the only shop in the past in Bikaner. Now contemporary restaurants are better, more tasty food.

There's nothing hatke about this place and even the famous Bikaneri bhujiya is just about average! Won't recommend it as a must-do in Bikaner but if you're keen to experiment, you might just wanna go for it ;)

Chhotu Motu... Shorty Fatty? I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. There is a sweet shop (obviously) to one side, on the other is a small entrance to a dark room. It looks slightly forbidding, but you'll get a warm greeting from the staff when you step in. The restaurant is fairly dark, with tiny tables and chairs. The menu is one-sided and small, with a short list of meals (snack items, really) and two longer lists of sweets and other desserts.

I had the kachori, two pieces for 14 Rupees, and they were fantastic. The pastry on the outside was light, flaky and not at all greasy. The stuffing was loaded with tastes and textures - spicy, nutty, crunchy, smooth, sweet... adding up to a tiny snack packed with a very full flavour.

After, I ordered a kesar kulfi and was slightly disappointed at how small it was... until I tasted it. It is the richest kulfi I've ever eaten and the size was perfect. Any more would have been over-the-top and taken away from the overall enjoyment.

The staff are friendly and eager to be of help, doing their best to explain what things are and delivering food items to your table quickly and with a smile.

I highly recommend this place if you want a quick snack or light lunch, or even a very spicy breakfast.
