We stayed here when we visited Pune for a conference. The place is in a corner of Pune on your way to Khadakwasla, and difficult to locate if you arent well versed with the topography of Pune. Its a club and is built in a middle eastern architectural design. The rooms are nice and very spacious. It is a huge property built on 20 plus acres of land. Its pretty green.

You feel nice when you enter the room. Then that feeling evaporates in thin air....pretty soon ! The staff have a mind of their own. They are pretty slow and lethargic. Food is not all that good. 'Room service' is a term which the staff aren't accustomed to ! House keeping takes its own sweet time when you ask them anything. And the English skills of many employees will put even Ajay Devgan ( in the movie Bol Bacchan ofcourse!) to shame :-)

It was a pretty nondescript stay except for a Ghazal Night which they had organised for the club members, one of the nights when we were around.

You can come here if you have oodles of patience and the wherewithal to chase & be after the staff till you get what you want !

Room Tip: Any cottage is good for stay. But outsource everything else !!!

had visited corinthian over the weekend and was really disappointed with the place. Some of the problems were:
1. rooms- there was no view from the room... it overlooked a wall. The bed was very uncomfortable... mattress was quite stiff and the pillow was hard and thick...
2. Bathroom... not very clean... also there was a strange smell in the water or pipes... like an acidic smell...not a very pleasent experiance considering i had a small kid with me
3. food- dinner buffet was below average.... and service really slow... they took forever to refill the food that got over... breakfast was decent though. nothing great... but food tasted decent
4. the place is difficult to locate... there are no signages... and its quite out of the way from pune
5. though the service was ok, the staff had a bit of arrogance about them... and not very helpful

the view was very nice though (from outside... not from my room)... and it was really breezy if u stood outside in the garden. also the play area was quite nice

Room Tip: maybe rooms overlooking the pool would be better

Preeti and myself got married last month at this awesome resort & spa ....from the time we arrived on 7 July 2012 until the time we left on 10 July 2012 our lives were perfect. With 60 close relatives and friends & the resort management & staff made sure our wedding was magical !

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with welcome drinks & cold towels ... registration took less than 10 Minutes for all 60 of us to be checked into our rooms. I called the week before and requested that we be put into the same building. No problem!!! We were all in the same building i.e THE luxurious boutique wing . We all quickly changed into pool attire and off we went. Let me start by saying the grounds of the hotel are impeccably manicured. The pool was beautiful and very well maintained. We never had to ask for anything. A call to Jayanto ( The cheerful and helpful Front Office Manager ) and all our requirement were addressed along with personal care for each guest . All our guest especially liked the executive Chef Vheejay Pawar - who never took his socks off he would be present personally for all our events and checked each dish himself ... I being in the hospitality Industry myself for almost 10 years.... I have never come across a chef not only so hard working but also dishing out food that were truly exceptional .... this was complemented by awesome service personally taken care by the Food & Beverage Manager – Vishi Oberoi who is a very hard worker and never is without a smile no matter how many hours he would work . I'm sure we all gained about 3 pounds while we were there. While we had execeptional buffets for our evening events and nice luches our buffet every morning for breakfast was humongous ..... i.e eggs cooked to order or anything else you could imagine.

Rooms were beautiful!! The couple to be married ( Preeti & Self ) had huge suites I guess around 700 sq feet with a balcony . Refrigerators are stocked 2X per day and it's not problem if you want extra. We all had rooms that had just been remodelled. Our suites had large jacuzzi tubs in them. Bring some "Mr. Bubble"!! We did and had a great time. Mr Pankaj Mathur the general manager of the property made sure that every aspect of the booking & stay was covered that each guest truly enjoyed their stay
......hence all our guests had an awesome time. We were all hoping it was going to be a "Groundhog" wedding but it came to an end way to soon.
Thanks to the "Excellence" staff for making our wedding truly magical . Our family from all across the globe who were well travelled and stayed across various brands thought this experience was truly one of a kind and the wedding they attended has never been so smooth and vacation like ... this one ... thank you Mr. Mathur & team for a fantastic time!!! AWESOME RESORT & AWESOME STAFF !!

Room Tip: All rooms are well designed and you take a classical pick but the newly renovated rooms are exceptio...

This is a really beautiful hotel, but the location and lack of signage on the way makes it a difficult destination to reach. Once you reach it though, you would love the hotel for the way in which it is built and spaced out. But its popularity is its bane, with service levels taking a hit due to the highly crowded weekends. This results in queues in virtually every place which can be a nightmare, if you are going for a holiday. The rooms also need to be cleaned up a bit more thoroughly as one of the bathrooms was stinking when we checked in.

Please call up the hotel to find out if it is less-crowded before making a booking.

Room Tip: Ground floor in Deluxe/Deluxe Superior has backside garden, which is good for evening outside

I & my friend with our family had a very bad experience. No sign boards on the way to assist one how to reach there & the hotel employees blame the ongoing construction.
No one to attend or assist at the time of arrival
The service was very bad. All that we were promised was not provided or given.
Whatever we asked for was either not provided or was provided very very very late.
The child Stroller wasn't present instead of previous talks between our agent & the hotel employees. The place where we had our breakfast, lunch & dinner ie SALSA, had only one child chair whereas the hotel has 300 rooms & one can imagine the strength of crowd. The food was also average & not HOT. The recreation places are also far enough.
The hotel either has less staff or is on a mission of saving money. I will surely not visit the second time even for FREE.

Room Tip: Select another hotel instead of this.

We booked the Corinthians hotel for the Janmashtami long weekend in Aug. It was a great getaway from Mumbai. Getting there was long though. We took approx. 5 hours to get there as pretty far from the expressway.
We were 3 generations traveling and it was great. The kids played along with their grandparents- there is the pool, table tennis, carrom, foosball, etc.
The club and hotel is well maintained and food is reasonable and good.
The problems we had with the hotel was that it was really crowded and thus noisy and secondly it is far - far to get to from Mumbai and far from the city.
I would yet recommend this hotel for a family getaway.

Corinthian Club is must recommended resort to stay at.....We had dining experience in SALSA restaurant which is part of Corinthian Club. The resort is huge like palace and inspired by Egyptian construction....Expensive but can visit on some special occasions. Food is excellent and staff is very courteous
