What a lovely and pleasing murti. Whatever your fears, worries or tensions, one look at this Ganesha, plus you to ease. So calming and bright, Dagduseth Temple is a must visit in your itinerary in Pune !

A very peaceful temple where ur mind would find calmness. It is believed that Ganesha always listens to the devotees here. It's situated right in middle of the Pune town. The traffic is heavy in peak business hours. Adviced to go in early morning when roads are empty and there is less rush.

It is an experience to live with local people to discover the feeling of their belief. We followed the queue to enter the temple and admire a magnificent statue of Ganesh. It is so nice to see how much devotion people dedicate to their belief. We were the only European in the middle of the crowd and all people have been very kind with us.

A trip to Pune for the spiritually inclined is incomplete without a visit to the famous Dagdu Shet Halwai Ganesh Temple. Although the place is always crowded, the management has made adequate provisions for crowd management. Spending 5 minutes in the temple gives you calmness and strength. Highly recommended visit.

This temple was built by a trader named Dagadusheth halwai, hence the name. It is very beautiful and usually crowded also. Its in the middle of a busy Pune market. Lot of devotees and religious fervor in this temple.
