This is a good place for trying out south east asian food but its on the expensive sided. But all the dishes are prepared well.
There is also good variety in the menu.
Its a lovely & romantic place to go in the evening since the view from there is breathtaking

Trikaya has been around for quite some years now. Earlier it served only Thai and South Asian cuisine. Now you can choose from Indian, Chinese, Thai and continental dishes. Even though they offer a variety of dishes, the food is quite authentic. Thai food is really good.

Ambience is splendid. Nothing short of brilliant ! The indoor soace as well as the terrace offer a great feeling. All in all, a great dining experience

THUMBS UP:
> Ambience is superb. People should visit this place atleast once, just for the ambience
> Food quality is really nice. Thai food is superb
> Great service. Very prompt and guest-friendly staff

THMUBS DOWN:
> Slightly over-priced

I read the reviews of Trikaya on tripadvisor and I must say...they were right. We entered in an empty looking mall first. Then we took lift and entered a different world. This restaurant is aesthetically beautiful and mesmerizing. The dining room decor was just fabulous. The only mistake they did here was to give we, the couple, a seat in the middle of the room. It certainly lacked romance. There were other places that could have been offered to us. The guy leading us to our table didn't even bother to ask if we want indoor seating or outside.

Anyways, then we ordered food and it was OK. Taste was not that yummy. With such decor of restaurant, you do expect some great presentation of food. Well, that was average too (atleast for us). I must say one thing but, the other staffs were very courteous. These guys were doing their best, however not as well trained in English, they were well trained in providing a courteous and pleasant service.

Overall experience was fine. If the food would have raised to the quality of service, we wouldn't have minded spending that much. But for the time being, I would say value for money was less.

It's a nice place for lunch or dinner. Suitable for Vegetarians.

Menu and food is quite original. Would recommend their Thai Red Curry and Burnt-garlic jasmine rice. Nothing like what you get in Thailand but will do.

Cocktails are quite good. My love of cocktails began with this restaurant. Sometimes they screw it up though; so recomment that you stick to the classics - Mojito or Daiquiri would be fine.
