JW Marriott is the brand where I usually stay for oversea trips (ex-USA) because of brand expectation. My first trip to Pune led me to first stay at JW Pune. Attention and true guest care by staff from check in counter, lobby to staff in the executive lounge were consistent and superb. There is difference from doing what learned from customer care training v. plus adding personal care. All the staff I encountered was the latter.
I ran into one of their staff (Shweta) at the lobby a couple of time. She has world welcoming smiles and great ways of pampering the guest who are new to their city.
Breakfast experience at lobby restaurant (Spice?) is at the far extreme opposite end. Attending staff forget the orders and required reminders and table and utensils were dirty and turning off appetite. Food? just about mediocre. I had dinner at same place for one evening.. repeat of the breakfast. Strongly not recommended.More
