Many 5-star resorts host social hours for guests, cruise ships have a captain's party and this place has something similar too - it is a daily "Welcome Morning" for first time visitors to help them become acquainted with the resort, make friends, etc.

This resort has facilities like any Hilton or Marriott, but not the boredom. I get bored after a few days at most resorts around the world - they are all pretty much the same. There is no shortage of opinions about this place, but nobody says it is boring! The longer I stay the harder it is to leave. Even sitting silently and doing nothing is fun here.

The osho.com website has information about meditation, the resort, multiversity courses, etc. I stay at the guesthouse - my room is clean and comfortable like any fine hotel, but without a television or telephone to distract and disturb me.

Just spent time today at the Commune in Pune. The beginning was good, great welcome etc. Then It was just one cost after another. The place is pretty clean and it seems not part of india, but once the master leaves, the place is run by monkeys, very arrogant and rude monkeys. save your money and go elsewhere. I am sure Osho would not have approved of all this. Also you cannot send any books by sea now thanks to the Indian Govt., so the cost by air for books is huge.

Room tip: I didn't stay at the over priced resort, go to the hotels around the German bakery as they are better and much cheaper.

I have visited meditation resort quite a few times, it the best facility in india for meditation & relaxation. Every other indian ashrams(though this place isn't called an ''ashram'') are pretty loudmouth about their facilities but here in the resort you get what you are promised. The rooms are tidy and well decorated in Zen Way, with essential furniture. The Air-conditioned pyramid shaped OSHO Auditorium is a place where meditation automatically happens. The silence of Chuang Tzu auditorium deepens your inner experience every time you visit it for a meditation. The working staff is very helpful & polite. You are welcomed with warmth & open heart at the welcome center. They help you with every minute details & if you are a first time participant, they also demonstrate active meditation technique as a part of presentation module which they call ''welcome morning''. You actually start getting a glimpse of ''meditation'' till the end of the presentation. The Olympic sized pool which is a cream on the cake after the morning OSHO Dynamic meditation. The services provided by the spa is quite amazing at a very nominal cost. And the morning Meditative swimming classes is a must-attend thing when you are at the meditation resort. It is so much fun with relaxation to be there.

Room tip: Rooms in the pyramid area are quieter with very beautiful natural surrounding.

Most 5 star resorts take care of your daily needs and provide entertainment. Osho Meditation Resort washes the spirit clean and settles the soul. I always feel so well taken care of here. Every room is fresh and clean, well maintained. The staff are friendly and understanding. The food is energising and supportive of meditation, and the whole resort supports both the laziest soul and the greatest adventurer.
