Now I base this review on approximately 3 visits and 2 take away orders. So please proceed with caution. I've ordered the primary specialties from this restaurant whenever I've visited the place. The specialties being Biryani particularly the mutton biryani, its probably been on the menu everytime I've ordered or taken away a package.
The ambiance is pretty traditional Irani and has a nice old worldly charm to it up until the point you see your host using a tablet to take your order. Yes ! This is pretty cool and I admire the fact that they have grown with the times. So after you are politely seated at a table and you place your order, don't bother doing too much timepass as the food will come almost immediately. This place is known for the speed with which they serve your orders, so one almost never has to wait for anything. You can straight away start tucking into some delectable delights.
While today I ordered the regular mutton biryani and the chicken reshmi kebabs, previously I've ordered rotis and mutton daal as well. Sound mouth watering, hell Yes ! They are. Each and every dish is beautifully prepared and served with an equal amount of love and affection. The biryani is cooked to perfection. I ain't a star chef or anything, but I do honestly feel that the mutton was cooked to absolute perfection and tore off the bones smoothly. It was succulent and lent an aroma of awesomeness to the biryani. Damn ! I'm hungry again !
Anyways, a meal for two will cost you around 600 INR. This amount today for me included a portion of Chicken Reshmi Kebab, a mutton biryani enough for 2, one fresh lime water and one fresh lime soda. I think that very good value for money considering some of the other places in and around Pune.
All in all, if you are a non-vegetarian, you will and let me say it again, "you will" thoroughly enjoy yourself and return completely satisfied.

I was particularly impressed with the biryani they had. The Tandoori Chicken was too good. Though, crowded, the place was spacious enough.

Its not the best place to sit and eat. So its better to buy food over the take away counter. They are known for their chicken, egg biryani for which you will have to wait ten min.

During my visit to pune and goa i went to this place coz one of my friends was totally abseced with this place and wanted to have a biriyani and i was not so much interested but i should tell you , the biriyani here is really really nice. i totally enjoyied my lunch here , the service was fast and the staff was prompt ( though they had very serious faces and also were a little slow in understanding things )
i would say even when i do not like rice i still like there biriyani and this is something, its very close to all the major places and so if you are in KGP or you are living around MG road its all is very easy and you can get to this place in no time.
i would go there again.

There are many restaurants in the Camp area of Pune that serve good Biriyani, but the Blue Nile is the best of the lot. Their Biriyani is always excellent, no matter what type. Both quantity and quality wise, the dish is fantastic. One portion of the dish is more than enough for one person. I would say that there are many places in Pune for the rest of the items on their menu, but if you want to eat biriyani to your heart and stomach's content, this is the place to go to. Their masala soda is a good accompaniment. I did not like their other dishes that much, I mean they are good, but not that great. The biriyani steals the show. The ambience and service are passable. Most recommended for a lunch with friends or colleagues.
