Though we only spent a short time here, it was worth a visit. Great panoramic view of the valley and a real feeling of openness especially after the crowds at Tableland.

On the main road from Mahabaleshwar, closer to Panchgani is Parsi points- one which offers a spectacular view! It is a children's park also.
The view is a vast expanse that would be an artist's dream come true- a range of colours, depth and hues.
Although this point had poor infrastructure they have made drastic improvements in recent times. A regular halt of ours..

Its a good point. Panchghini is all about various points. So there is not much to look forward to in each point. And it's just up to you how many you want to see

This is great for visiting with your family. You get a good view of the Dhom Dam Valley, Sydney Point as well as part of table land. During peak season, it is pretty crowded. At other times, it is a pensioners delight. It can be pretty cold during winter season and hence always carry some warm clothing. There are benches for people to sit and admire the marvels of nature as well as man made marvels [like the Dhom Dam]. Can be soggy/slushy during monsoons.... but then is now the new breed of youngsters who also seem to enjoy that !!! It is believed that many Parsis used to visit this place mainly as a form of exercise on more or less a daily basis and hence the name Parsi Point....And yes, please don't litter my Panchgani !!! How would you react if other people came and littered into your house ? Why can't we people treat each and every place as a part of our house, i.e. India and stop littering !

This was just near our hotel and we could get a very good view of river and valley. There are a number of vendor selling small mementos and eatery. An enjoyable pass time in evening.
