Location : The place is right at the foothill of Table Land. Full marks for location and view.
Rooms : All the cottages are excellent. Toilets were hygienic. I stayed at Room 35 in Woodside cottage. Here the rooms are more spacious but accessibility might be a issue for family with small kids. If you stay in Woodside cottage prefer room 35 or 31 as they are the only ones that have valley view, other rooms have hill view which is very restricted. All Oakwood and Sunset cottages have valley view. Pool side rooms are good especially if you want to enjoy sunbathing by the poolside.
Ambiance : It's all so serene and tranquil that sometimes you feel that you can even listen to the air flowing. Entire hotel is dotted with tall trees which enhances it's beauty. Hammocks and sitouts are charming to say the least. Small kids will find swings and tree house attractive. Though the swings are limited and kids might get bored soon.
Leisure : Swimming pool is 4 to 4.5 feet deep so even non swimmers can enjoy it. There is plenty of open space near the pool for sunbathing. Hotel provides fresh towels. Kids pool is saperated by a railing for safety. There is a games room which is practically defunct. Pool table is crooked and TT bats are just ply with no rubber on them. Library is stcked with books on various subject matters which can be enjoyed while bathing in the sun.
Food : Need I say anything on this?? Just bear in mind that there is no room service for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Only tea/coffee is served in room.
Hospitality : Full marks in this section. Mr. Shahram and his family make you feel completely at home. They are very warm and friendly. Any help is just a phonecall away.
