Ambassador Ajanta is a resort cum business hotel located in the heart of the city centre at just 4 Km. from the airport. It has a unique location with more than 13 acres of lush greenery right in the middle of the business district giving you a dose of paradise within the city of Aurangabad which incidentally is home to the famous Ajanta / Ellora caves and is also the closest city. they give pick & drop from airport to hotel. This hotel is near to frozone shopping mall.I stayed for one night. It was not so pleasant stay. Room was specious but not maintained well. very old furniture's, very old Television, badly maintained elevators. Staff at the reception not so well trained or not very warm where as lower level staff makes you feel good. staff at the restaurant very courteous and take care of you well. if you are on vacation you may enjoy as you can walk around the hotel, they got swimming pool maintained quite well in the middle of greenery. if you are looking to have good food you may not enjoy. Breakfast spread is good but taste is not so good. since it is on the main road easy for commuting from this place as you get auto's and taxis. This rated as five star but you do not feel five star facilities except the price for food etc. If just looking for stay and do business or for sight seeing O.K. place.

Room Tip: do not chose lower level rooms. ask for the rooms higher level as well road facing

I stayed at Hotel Ambassador Ajanta, Aurangabad (AAA for short). Nice hotel, nice rooms though not very spacious may be because we had ordered one extra bed in the room. Room Number was 215 and we stayed for one day on 10 August 2013. Location of the hotel was convenient as it was on the way to the Airport.
Front of the hotel was impressive. Entry of the hotel was elegant and staff at front desk were extremely courteous and helpful.
Good thing about the hotel was its swimming pool and sports room. We went for spa but the lady had left and my wife could not avail this service.
Bed were not very comfortable.
Room service also needed improvement. We had ordered two tea but the person brought only one tea. Food in the restaurant was not bad and the chef was taking personal interest by visiting us on our table. Breakfast was good too.
We found that the toilet seat did not have a jet. To our horror, the cistern was not working. Housekeeping promised that they will repair it at the earliest.
Can be recommended for short visit.

Room Tip: Rooms are sufficient for two persons. If you need a third bed to be adjusted in the room, better find bigger room.

We stayed here for two nights in july with a small group of friends while visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves. Very standard hotel with all regular amenities and a nice garden/location including swimming pool. Checkin/checkout was really easy and fast although i understand some had trouble with their bills. Rooms were good---reasonable for price and clean. Bed was a big stiff, and mattress was very thin, but clean and i got good sleep. Bathroom has old fixtures, but clean. We had a wedding one night, but thankfully they ended around 22h30 - 23h00 so it wasn't a major issue. Breakfast was a good buffet---- with omlettes on order as well. The servers tried hard to please our group with lunch and dinner also. Overall--- a good option.

Seriously disappointed and disheartened with this hotel :(
The hotel manager is a punk. Has no manners and is ready to abuse and humiliate the customers. Same goes with the housekeeping staff.
Break fast was a nightmare. Cheap and tasteless food at premium cost :(
Tea was served in cheap plastic glasses(use & throw) with Tiger biscuits in the conference.
The hotel manager and the lousy staff is truly a disgrace.
With all this I find it very strange they claim it to be a 5 star hotel.
