This hotel was okay, nothing to rave about. Front desk staff were not particularly friendly. The rooms were basic and sparse but reasonably clean. There were alot of mosquitoes in the room but they gave us a piece if paper to burn which was impregnated with something and killed off most of the mosquitoes. It is reasonably priced with a lovely courtyard garden.

The reception on arrival was indifferent to sullen, which is not a great introduction after a long trip.
The room was large at least but it was near the outdoor dining area so it was noisy all the time,as well as an extremely loud booming bass coming from speakers in the kitchen early in the morning.
You needed to be quick to get the hot water.and the wifi was chargeable.
At least the garden was nice.

If you're looking for a restful place to sleep, I can't suggest Hotel Surya Khajuraho. The rooms are around an open corridor so early in the morning and late at night we would often be awakened by tours coming and going. The walls were also paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the room next doors. Rooms were relatively clean, although our sheets looked dirty. Hot water is available, but only at certain times of the day for a limited period of time, which proved to be inconvenient. Laundry services are available and it is in walking distance to the sites. There also is a garden cafe which serves food, although arguably a bit overpriced. Overall, it serves its purpose as a place to rest your head and store your things however, would seek out a different place to stay next time.
