Reviewed June 16, 2013

I travelled in May month that was ending season, Clear water look like swimming pool, coral reaf, long stretches of lagoons, White sands, thousands type of sea fishes and other, prefer timing oct to april. connectivity through boat to sea little risky during ending season, You require permit to travel islands, there are total abt 32 island, you can visit 3-4 islands, there are packages of 2 islands 3 islands etc,
I going by package , permit will be part of it,

Dont expect extravagant services or food. Good but Very basic hotel services. Comfortable. The place is amazingly beautiful with clear waters, greenery. Great place to just lie on the beach and enjoy the beauty of a lagoon with corals that can be seen from the beach. Turtles sometimes come to the beach,

Collection of tiny islands surrounded by long stretches of lagoons! The water is so crystal clear that you can see turtles swimming in the water from flight! Beware you need special permission to land in Agatti (yes, even if you are an Indian!). The private resort in Bangaram is closed down, what still operates is a pleasant Govt guesthouse. We did kayaking in the sea n snorkelling! The staff at Govt guesthouse are very helpful. This place is at peace with nature, it has very fine white sand beaches, I guess it's beauty lies in the fact that its completely non commercialised!

Visited by air, took a boat to Bangaram in the evening with a local fisherman & returned by night. The full moon, sparkling star and the gentle waves were an out of the world experience. First sight of a flying fish, lovely corals, crystal clear blue lagoons, fresh tuna, no crowds! Hmmm heaven on earth!!
