We are a family of 4, and stayed at this delightful place on the cliff at Varkala for 6 nights in January 2012 after reading positive reviews here on Trip Advisor. We stayed in two rooms, and both were very clean and tidy. Both had crisp white sheets, comfortable beds (with mosquito nets), and most importantly...spotless bathrooms. On the balcony outside was a delightful hammock to doze away those lazy hours before heading to one of the restaurants nearby, or the beach for a wakeup-swim [both beach and restaurants are only 4-5 mins away]. Hospitality is mentioned in many reviews.. and like others, we were treated to plenty of it. For example, on our last morning, Saji woke early just to make us hot lemon tea & say warm goodbyes.. even though our taxi was leaving extremely early (it was still dark outside).

For 660 RPS we got a clean bed and basic but clean bathroom and excellent location less than a minute from the cliffs. The rooms here are basic, but entirely worth their price.

I ve stayed at this guest house many times and have always had a lovely time. The rooms are clean and well looked after, Saji and her family did an excellent job of looking after me.

The guest house is just a few mins walk from the cliff and the beach. The thing i like most that its peaceful during the day and the night, we also had one of the best Thail here.

Room Tip: corner rooms upstairs are bigger.

We stayed at the Keratheeram for a few days and greatly enjoyed our visit. The close proximity to the beach was excellent as well as the cool breeze wafting into the room off of the majestic cliff. For a double we paid 600 which was very reasonable. It took us until our last day their to try Saji's famous sweet and spicy fish in her own welcoming home and lovely kitchen. Although we did not partake in the yoga, it is safe to say that I left the Keratheeram 2 days older, wiser, and spiritually cleansed. In all seriousness, this is a great place.

We stayed at Keratheeram Beach Resort in Varkala for 8 nights. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with quality bedding, bath towels and mosquito nets set in a pretty garden a stone's throw from North Cliff. Saji and her family looked after us extremely well and the price was much cheaper than any other places we looked at. Highly recommended.
