Padmanabhapuram palace of the Travancore dynasty is a must visit. The palace is well-maintained. Volunteer multilingual guides explain you different rooms/halls free of cost. Video cost Rs. 1500.

The perfect architectural marvel of the Travancore kings at its best. The wood work, the flooring and the ootupura are the sites to watch. Various kettu's and the malikas are worth seeing. The nirthamandapa is a artistic marvel.

Located next to the Padmanabham temple. A visit takes you back 200 years into the royal families history and the influencess on the royal family. NIce rosewood carvings on the roof tops. Some old chinese pottery and paintings. Worth a visit.

With it precise wooden architecture, elaborate mastery of carvings, it is a place very worth going. It is bit of travel from Trivandrum but worth going, especially if one is going to to cape comerin

One shoudl visit this palace, very good old architecture with lots of old arts and sculputures. It will showcase King of Trivandrum dynasty history and others. Must visit.
