We stayed at the Graceful Homestay for one night before taking a flight to Delhi.
We initially made contact via a Travel Agent who advised us that there was availability for the night in question, but after contacting GH direct we were advised that they were fully booked. Thankfully, Sylvia came to the rescue and very kindly offered us a room in the family house (normally reserved for family members only) because of the mix up. What a star!
We arrived to a warm welcome from Giles, followed by tea & biscuits and a tour of the gardens. The property is in a very quiet location & the grounds are lovely.
Giles' wife cooked us dinner that evening, along with the other 6 guests, and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed chatting to some of the other guests over dinner. Although we didn't stay in the main homestay building, we ate our meals there and it seems like a nice place with good communal space. There is wi-fi & also a computer for general use.
Giles & Sylvia offered advice for departure time for the airport & also booked us a taxi to take us there. Breakfast the next morning was delicious & plentiful (there was Indian & western food to choose from)
