The waters here are not as badly exploited as the ones in Kumarakom and Alleppey. Once you get here, you get the feeling that you are looking at some very virgin territory. You can literally see mirror-like reflections of the palm trees in the waters and there is an intricate network of canals and waterways that the boats will take you through. The downside is the cost. But that, I guess, is the same across Kerala
