This is located very far from trivandrum. Rooms, food, service was average. Staff was silent but helpful. The only good thing is the resort is beach side, so you will have access to the beach all the time. Over all its just about average.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend on a work trip. Annie (the owner) & her husband are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is just superb, the beach is a few meters walking distance from the hotel. The food is great - just perfect home cooked local food. I wish we had the time to explore more and enjoy the place. They also arrange hotel pick up and drop and it is better than getting flecced by cabs at the airport. The rooms are basic but clean and all the rooms have a sea view..Would love to be back there again with some spare time to enjoy the place, the beach and the conversations !

One thing that constantly comes to my mind when I think of "PalmLeaves Beach resort" is SERENITY. If you enjoy quite days reading books by the beach then this is the perfect place to be.I loved staying there.
the price that i paid for a beautiful beach front room was nominal when compared to other beach resorts.
The place is so beautiful that i wanted to marry my husband again just for the beauty of venue. Its a perfect place to get married.
Rooms r gr8 and well kept and the owner is a very helpful and gr8 guy. I would love to go back.

A perfect place to relax by the beach. With kids of age 8 & 5, we enjoyed the beach side, the swings under the palmtrees, the golden sands and the hammocks. We enjoyed the trips arranged by mathew to different festinations. Without any fixed plan, we started our holiday, but the hosts mathew & Annie arranged all our holidays in a perfect way.
The homely food, prepared by annie was very tasty & yummy, children too loved the lovely food served by Annie.
The service was great. The staff was very friendly.we recommend palmleaves to all who like to relax and enjoy holiday with great food.

A very private beautiful hotel with picturesque beach views. The food was great and the hotel owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is set away from the busy tourist areas but still a good distance by bus or taxi to places such as Kovalum and elephant sacturies etc. This is not the place to go if you want the busy tourist beach holiday but an amazing break from all the stress of real life. My friend and I had a great stay, a lovely end to an amazing trip round the south of India, we didn't want to leave and come back to the real world and hope we can come back again!

First time traveling to India and had an amazing time. We booked last minute but could not have made a better choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The beach was steps away from the hotel and empty- we were the only ones visible besides the local fishermen bringing in the day's catch. There isn't much to do activity-wise in the immediate area but Matthew and Annie were extremely helpful in suggesting (and planning!) day trips. We took three day trips and Matthew drove us and either dropped us off or accompanied us each time. Annie is an amazing cook! We ate most of our meals in the hotel and there was something different (and delicious) for every meal. We didn't say no to anything all week. Our last night we went shopping in Trivandrum with Annie and her daughter and had a great time then as well! They're a wonderful family and it felt like we were staying in a home rather than a hotel. We did have a few issues figuring out the hot water but it was fairly hot out anyway so that wasn't too much of a problem. Great people and good value. Amazing experience!

A very cosy and welcoming place with a beautiful beach. Meals were positively delicious too ! We appreciated relaxing there a couple of days after a wonderful but tiring backpacking trip through Kerala.
The location is excellent too (close to many intersting sites) and the owners can arrange day-trips to Varkala, Kovalam, Cape Comorin... for their guests.
We enjoyed every minute of it and definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those searching for a quiet beach destination.
