I have stayed on this beautiful place for 2 days with my wife and 2 kids and everyone of us have thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The place is located on a hilltop providing great views just from the resort itself. The hotel staff and the manager (Mr.Siby) have take care of our needs with utmost care as if their relatives/own family was staying in the resort. The royal cottage which we stayed was spacious and clean. There was 24hrs running hot water and generator back-up for power. We checked-in at the time of heavy rains and staff had brought hot food (which was really a heaven on earth). Food at other times were also good.. especially the aappam and egg curry for breakfast.. My kids enjoyed playing at the two small children's play area.. and there are 3 big goose that provided little bit of additional attractions for them.. If you want to spend a quite a little get-away with your family amidst the nature and courteous people.. this is the place!

Room Tip: Cottage on the west side provide great view to the endless moutains and valleys

We (me, wife and my kid) had a lovely stay (for 2 days) and loved to extend it for more. But unfortunately didn't have enough holidays. The name really says it all. Excellent location, helpful staff. I would prefer to stay there again on my coming holidays. Thank you

Room Tip: cottages have the great scenery to watch

This property itself has loads of potential for a quality vacation!! You are living smack in top of a hill, the cottages are spread all over the place, long walks, nature, almost everything in abundance. Nature is absolutely fantastic. You get nice food, good service. If you are doing a Kerala tour with itinerary Cochin-Munnar-Thekkady-Alleppey, this place is some 24 km After Thekkady, on Thekkady-Alleppey-cochin NH highway. I would suggest plan a day or two at this place. Early morning walks in these pine forest is a memorable experience The rooms were spacious and reasonably clean. The restaurant was well maintained and the food was good. The staff were all helpful.

After having a great time in Munnar with wonderful memories, we proceeded to our next destination Thekkady which was so called 130 Km from Munnar. But when we reached there it was a shock to know that our booked hotel "Thrisangu Haven" was more 50 Km ahead of the main spots in Thekkady. That means an hour drive. Making up our mind we travelled for one more hour reaching our destination "Thrisangu Hell". Our 1st impression about it was "A haunted place". On top of that there was this staff which was completely unwelcoming. Before even we could say anything the manager started throwing 10 different questions at us, rather than asking one of his staff to help us with the luggage. Since we had a booking for two nights we were finally handed over the keys of our cottages. Entering the room was another sight. We had never ever seen such a shabby room in a 3 Star hotel. There were spiders and insects moving around and there were ants on the window edges. The bathroom was not cleaned and the curtains were hanging around with no support of their rings. The sight was such a disaster that we decided to quit the place immediately and stated searching for availablity in other hotels, but in vain. The dinner that was charged 300 bucks was not even worth 50 bucks. Tasteless and with no variety at all. Kerala is “God’s Own Country”. But if you do not want to spoil your image bout it please avoid this place. Out of 8 days of our vacation 2 days was a complete waste because of this place.
