Old time hotel. Staff is very attentive. Rooms very charming, with some lovely antiques. Our room had a wonderful antique phone. The shower was outdoors - nice indeed. Need to make reservations for dinner. People from outside the hotel can come in for dinner, and do, deservedly so. Food is scrumptious. Serves alcohol which is a plus. Hard to go wrong here.

Room Tip: Ask for the Tulip room.

We arrived at this wonderful hotel straight from our flight from the UK. Their driver Anthony picked us up from the airport in the Old Harbour's Ambasador and the experience started. Warm welcome at hotel and the room was ready for us at 10 am, so a real bonus to be able to catch up on sleep etc. They were sadly booked up for the second night and transferred to a small guest house "The Raintree" which was perfect and incredible value. Food and service excellent all done with a smile. Good pool to unwind around and then have a beer at sundown. We then unexpectantly found ourselves needing another night in Cochi after a week on the road and contacted them again to see if there was availability at the Raintree, but sadly that was full, so I was offered a god deal to return the Old Harbour, so took this up and was even upgraded to a better room. They were then extremely helpful in booking train tickets and transfer to station even with a packed breakfast!! Love to return soon.

This hotel offers first class atmosphere and elegance, from the first impression of the Reception Area to the perfumed flower buds scattered on the bed in the evening. Dining in the beautiful gardens while listening to local musicians is magical. The swimming pool area is peaceful and relaxing with attentive staff close at hand. The Chinese Fishing Nets are just a few minutes walk away and a late afternoon cruise around the harbour, finishing with watching the sunset is really great.
It is a hotel not to be missed.

The only regret I have about staying at the Old Harbour Hotel is that we didn't stay long enough! The staff was welcoming, attentive, unassuming, and friendly. The food was delicious and the grounds were picturesque. We had a room on the ground floor with an open air bathroom complete with private outdoor shower.

This character hotel was easily our favorite out of the 5 properties we stayed at on our Karela vacation. The service was outstanding...the very friendly staff were smiling at all times.
The hotel is in a great location for enjoying the best of Kochi. It has a nice pool which came in very handy in the 37degree celcious we had during our stay. The restaurant had a small band playing every night which added to the great ambiance.

We stayed in the Princess Suite which was amazing...would highly recommend this room if it is available.

Room Tip: Princess suite
