“Exactly what we needed!”

We stayed in Kochi for 3 nights, including the New Year, and were looking for a calm and chilled out place, not too far from the main sights in Kochi. We stayed in a suite, which was clean, comfortable and spacious.
The hotel is quiet and the owners are welcoming. There is a small (independent) cafe within the hotel where you can grab a sandwich and meet with other travelling folk in a relaxed ambiance.
It takes just a few minutes to walk from here to most of the sights in Fort Cochin, so would definitely recommend this place.

Reached this hotel after tour of North India. Loved the ambience of the hotel, stunningly beautiful . Inside homey and warm. Warm and friendly hosts. Clean large rooms and bathrooms with tubs and hot water throughout. Good breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits. Stayed here for two nights and after a tour of South Kerala, came back again to relax and rest in this scenic spot before flying home. If you are looking for something warm and friendly in a great scenic location and for a good value, then this is the place.

Room Tip: Stayed in the suite room in the front with good view to the road outside and the inner lovely garden...

Amazing ambience at this lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens richly decorated with giant fish tanks, a real beauty. Another feature is the lovely chirping birds , you can find them all over the garden. The owner Leslie, a friendly guy, rears a whole lot of birds in his garden. This place is really a sanctuary. Very hygienic and well maintained. If the exteriors are so, the interiors are also beautifully decorated with good paintings and well laid curtains. Large, clean and very neat and spotlessly clean bathrooms. Staff are very attentive and caring. A wonderful relaxing place., inside and outside. Leslie helps out with anything and everything and leaves you to decide on your own. Non intrusive nature., Loved his place and highly recommend it to all.

This place was a real disappointment. Although the homestay looks quite attractive from the outside, my overall impression was quite poor. The rooms were very basic indeed and inferior to places in Fort Kochi that are INR 2000 less. There was a sickening and unremitting stench of urine coming from outside (cats?) and this made for a rather unpleasant stay. Give this place a miss.

Dear SGW, I am quite surprised to note your comments “sickening and unremitting stench of urine coming from outside(cats). “ We do not keep any cats and dogs here and if any one or two cats come from outside occasionally, it is not going to give a sickening and unremitting stench of urine. We are more surprised as you or any other guest have not made any such complaint . All our guests love sitting outdoors for hours enjoying our scenic beauty. When there is no smell outside , then how can it come inside. There are many guests who have said this is a paradise. We are also surprised to note your comparison to other properties INR 2000 less. There are other properties in Fortcochin, INR 2000 less with no air conditiong, far away from the town (10-15 minutes away), and basic breakfast. Our property is located in the heart of Fortcochin, in the Fort area and just 3 minutes walking distance to the beach, the dutch cemetery and all other tourist sites. Our rooms are large and spacious and well furnished with large bathrooms most of them with tubs. You need all the amenities, you need service, you need large breakfast, you need airconditioned and you need a place for relaxing and enjoying the serene, you also need to pay.

This hotel is highly recommended. It is easy walking distance from the rest of the tourist bustle, set amongst large trees. The hotel itself is very charming with lovely gardens, outdoor eating area, tropical fish tank and aviary. The rooms are oozing with olde worlde charm, with curtains, comfortable bedding and furniture and mosquito nets. The breakfast, served by Mr Leslie himself, is excellent with REAL COFFEE in a plunger. Transport to the airport was in a silver ambassador. Everything has a touch of quaility. Highly recommended and I will certainly return soon.

We booked at Anns Residency after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and yes, we had a fantastic stay at this lovely and charming hotel. The place stood to all of our expectations and beyond. The location is ideal, just 2 minutes walking distance to the beach, Dutch cemetry, churches and museums. We just loved the natural environment at Anmns, its really amazing and all and the owners too are very friendly and do their best to help. The rooms are well kept, neat and clean and well furnished. We had a mini fridge and TV in our room. The bathrooms with bath tub and shower, the comfy beds, large comfy pillows, great breakfast and that too included in the price, all added to the beauty of our stay at this charming hotel. It is definitely worth the money you spend, scenic and beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. Look forward to visiting Anns agaion!!!!

Room Tip: Suite rooms overlooking the garden view are excellent and soothing to the eyes
