We were welcomed in to their restaurant 'Casinova' with open arms and big smiles. We walked up several flights of stairs to reach the roof top which has some nice views over the local area. The restaurant it self looks really nice, there are paintings all over the walls and a disco light display which really give the place a nice ambiance.
What really let the place down though was the food and drinks. We ordered a butter chicken a chicken biriyani and some local breads in cheese and butter flavor called porothas. We waited quite a while for our food, and realised that it had been made but was sat on a bench waiting for the waiters to come and bring it to us for 5-10 minutes (that's just asking for food poisoning in India!), when we got it we were absolutely shocked to see that both meals had only 3 small pieces of chicken. When we started eating we then realised that these 3 small pieces of chicken were leftovers of a chicken which constituted of mostly bone. While we were being shocked at our meal we tried our drinks, my partner had a 'special tea' which was a beer served in a teacup, he said it was horrible. I had a mojito, which I know are notirious to be hard to make but this was like a disgusting tasting swamp drink. And then we tried to local bread a cheese porotha, this tasted nice but it was full of that plasticy cheese you get in squares on hamburgers- not very authentic! We complained to the waiter, who was quite friendly. The complaint was mostly about the chicken as my partners meal was literally just a bowl of sauce because the chicken was all bone, the waiter said 'you don't like bone?!'. What a joke.
Now its the next day and we are worried that from how bad the quality of the food was that we might have food poisoning. Fingers crossed we are ok! Please stay away from this restaurant, or only go there to just drink mineral water as that's all its good for!
