“A good place for Chinese & Thai Food”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

I have been here with family as well as with some of my foreign guests.. The food is really good and is reasonably priced.. The restaurant area is low which makes it crowded mainly during weekend nights.. Lunch time during business days is pretty ok. Parking area is also less as they are located in one of the busy roads of kochi.. It is overall recommendable for family and also smaller group of friends, larger group might find difficult with the lesser number of tables available

“Awesome Thai food”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We company mates went for a lunch outing here. Both the interiors and exteriors are well decorated in this hotel which gives a perfect look of Chinese tradition. what we really like was play with chopsticks placed on our table and we can surly respect Chinese peoples for handling these chopsticks with in their hand. Some of us ordered Szechuan Thai noodles and it was so hot and spicy, we really enjoyed our meal here. I recommend this hotel to peoples who like bit spicy Chinese and Thai foods.

“Thai and Chinese”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Perhaps the only moderately priced thai joint in Kochi. All the other Thai joints i know of are 5 star.
The food is good and the decor decent. gets kinda crowded though.
I,d recommend the place for a small group. Large groups may find the place cramped.

“Really good chinese food”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Really good chinese food. I often take my wife out to this place. Good ambience. Car parking for a few cars , wish they had more. Also it would be good if they had more seating capacity

“Fell Upon it by Chance”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

My wife and I were in the area on business and found this place on our way to getting lost in the chaotic maze of Cochin streets. Had very little in terms of expectation, just wanted a quick bite and no stomach ache. It’s on the upper floor of a 2 storied (I think) strip of shops, would not normally go there, but hunger, exhaustion and intuition beckoned me in. A small restaurant with borderline cheesy Asian décor.

The food was surprisingly good, a mix of Chinese and Thai, the tastes were very authentic, someone in the kitchen had done their homework. The usual maladies of Indian Thai food were absent, I tried by wife's vegetarian tofu dish (yep she is a veggie lover) and was surprised to find all the flavors there. My Entree of a braised fish was perfect other than the fact that they had used a frozen fish for it, that too in seafood central Cochin ( the manager had advised me of this prior to the order being placed, therefore they get credit for honesty). We ended up doing a bit of menu exploring, the gist of it...good food, moderately expensive, did not get the bloated feeling of having had a heavy lunch. Will make this my spot every time I go to EKM. Hope it remains this way.
