The Princess Street is full of good restaurants, quaint little shops and some old bookstores. A great place to spend an evening - walking down the street or stopping at a restaurant for some coffee/food - watching other tourists.

Nothing much to see here, just few shops and open restaurants. 10mins max required if you are not buying anything. Try the prawns fry in the open restaurant on start of princess street(cheap and good). Don't buy anything costly there, the same thing is available in much cheaper price in other places.

Best street to find whatever you are looking for from clothes to food to internet to tours, etc...

Keep an out out for all the little cafes along the way! Great places to stop for a quick tea or ice cream!

The street just has homestays, hotels n restaurants. It can be best experienced by foot. We stayed in one of the hotels which is around a corner and provided gud view of the street.

Kochi's mix of its former colonial era and Kerala is visible on Princess street. One can find The Kashi Art Gallery, with its Western ambience, alongside a Kerala tourism centre. You can find Kashmiri shawls, myriad books, a Cafe Coffee Day and much more. Stroll along here and stop for a drink in the summer at the cafe on the first floor. Then book a half day tour before spending a quiet afternoon browsing 2 beloved bookshops. Buy some bread at the quaint bakery here before checking out the nearby food courts. One gets the feel of an outdoor mall minus the brands. Finally walk to the fishing nets nearby and watch the sunset.
