We stayed three nights here in early September. It was beautifully tranquil and quiet. The sunsets are amazing. We stayed in the hut facing the lake, one bedroomed, which has an amazing view and great to sit on the rocking chairs looking out across the lake. We also asked if we could stay in the other hut on our last night which the staff were kind enough to let us do. The two bedroomed hut is more traditional and more beautiful in itself, and the bathrooms are beautiful outdoors ones, very private but open air and lovely in the evening.
The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. The food was lovely. We did a backwaters trip through the smaller canals and channels which was really excellent and well worth doing. My boyfriend had an ayurvedic massage which I would not recommend at all - it took place in the local village but I think it was pretty much standard from what I heard from other people who had massages in other places. It is not relaxing at all but certainly quite vigorous and strenuous.
Overall this was a great place to stay although staying more than about three nights might make you restless as there is very little to do. It is wonderfully relaxing.
