“No Fort Here”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

The area is called Fort Kochi, there is no fort here. This is actually a harbor area where fisherman use their famous Chinese nets and the waterline is dotted with the most original hotels and restaurants you will ever see in Kochi. Among them is the 250 years old Koder House that still offers it's rooms to guests. Thee restaurant here looks straight out from the pages of Treasure Island, old, quaint and nostalgic.

Your time here will be best spent, strolling down the long coastline or just sipping cold beer with fried King fish in one of the many restaurants that becon you inside.

“The Anglicised Cochin”
Reviewed July 18, 2014

Fort Kochi, a sleeping fishermen village now one of the most sought after residential/business addresses in Cochin. A nice place to be based at, while on a vacation to Cochin, Ernakulam or even the less known backwaters.

“A myriad of sights, sounds, smells and more”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

A great place to amble and discover hidden gems. From restaurants, home-stays, markets, shops, shows and much much more. Tuk-Tuk drivers will happily take you to a 'favourite' restaurant of theirs for a Kerala Thali lunch for next to nothing, then take you on a two hour tour of the city for about £1. It's easy to see why the hippy trail passed through here and if you are vigilant, you'll spot some ageing ones who once came and never left. Lots to see and do, walk and walk and discover for yourself so much that is just about everyone's heritage.
