We tried to find this at night and ended up on a very dark street full of shutters.
But at day well worth a visit. The great things is walking thru all the antiques to get to the cafe at the end and then sitting out over looking the river watching the world go by.

Refreshing lime drinks and good tasty food

Its near the Jewish Synagogue. You may not spot it unless you look for it. Its a beautifully located restaurant with a harbour view. There is an antiques exhibition as well - which is worth checking out. The food is tasty, decent service. Furnished in an old rustic theme, its a nice place to relax in the sun as well as enjoy the cold evening breeze.

This place is really worth searching out. Very central, just round the corner from the synagogue, but you won't find it unless you look for it. Other reviews explain how to find it. I'd just like to add that the location on the water is a real treat. There's a cool breeze on this terrace filled with artifacts, you escape from the shopkeepers and most other tourists AND there's a very nice loo too!

My husband and I had read the reviews about the Ginger House before visiting the area and were keen to try the highly recommended ginger ice cream. We were not disappointed - it was heavenly as was all the food we sampled, as well as the service, the location and general ambience. A real treat for the senses and reasonably priced.

Visited this restaurant twice, first time for a snack and drink, second time for a late lunch,we had the day's special, prawn ginger curry, the price might look expensive on the menu but it came with rice, breads and pickle.
My wife puts ginger in almost all of our home cooking so she was in her element here, as most items on the menu included it. Our favourite spot in Fort Kochi for food, views and atmosphere.
