“Great Dinner with Jasmin and Stanley Wilson”
Reviewed February 19, 2011

We wanted to try Keralic Food, and Stanley Wilson, our wonderful guide to Kerala, invited us to have dinner at the Jasmin Villa homestay, a hotel and kitchen run by his wife, Jasmin.
It was an exceedingly good experience. Jasmin is a great cook and she was full of explanations and recipes. The food was fresh, healthy and spicy.

We highly recommend the place for the good food, good conversation, and the lovely philanthropic Jasmin.

I stayed one night at the Jasmine Villa. It's in a quiet neighbourhood not far from Princess street. It's a 'real' hommestay, you stay at a family's home. It's clean, friendly and the food is great! Enjoy!

Although we didn't stay at the house we got an amazing Keralan style cooking class by Stanley Wilsons wife Jasmin at Jasmine Villa. We'd been browsing Fort Kochi for a cooking class that would meet our demands for veg-food only (can be altered to your liking) and not having so many people in a class at the same time. It was only us three in their house, with Jasmin elegantly showing, explaining and letting us try it out for ourselves. Four dishes in total along with Chapati, Raita and some extras. We finished the class by a feast worthy both Indian royals and Swedish backpackers. All in all, a great cooking class. So look no further, go see Stanley in his office on Princess St. and get a chance to meet his charismatic wife Jasmine and let her teach you some kitchen secrets!

I was travelling with 3 female friends when we met Stanley Wilson and booked 2 tours with him. Having 1 wonderful house boat trip we then stayed in the Jasmin Villa, and it was wonderful. Jasmine cooked some wonderful traditional indian food. Jasmine and Stanley were wonderful hosts and it was an amazing stay. Followed by another amazingtrip in Munar. I would defintly recommend a trip and stay here.
