The perfect cup of tea accompanied by some great breakfast items. The grilled chicken sandwich is fabulous as is the cheese omelette. You can go spicy and have their Indian rarebit or just have a couple of slices of toast with the best bread I've had in India. This of course is topped off by a selection of wonderful loose leaf tea served in cute teapots with strainer, sugar nips and little jugs of milk.......heaven!!

This is a quaint tea-themed cafe in Fort Kochi. Right from the entrance with hanging teacups, a collection of hundreds of teapots in various colors in every nook and corner, photo-portraits to the wall-clock, the theme is palpable everywhere. It is a photographer's delight.

Coming to food (yes, the visual delight can make you forget about your real purpose of visiting the cafe!), it has a great collection of teas. We also tried the blueberry cheesecake which was very tasty as well. The pricing is very modest.

Overall, a charming place to spend your evening sipping on tea.

The cafe recently featured on Michelin star chef Vikas Khanna's food show on Fox Traveller. The tea and cake here inspired him to cook a tea-infused orange cheesecake on the show.

There's not to fuss about, really, but this is a quiet and calm place if you need some rest from the very insistent shop owners in Princess Street. Try the orange cake with some cardmom tea.
