“good place, good location close to centre -escape the crowds”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Nice place. Yes service is bit slow, but you could sit there reading a book all day and i don't think they would worry! - so that's nice and relaxing. It is quieter than Art Cafe which i also reviewed - but still mostly frequented by tourists. Food is okay [toasted sandwich a bit uninspiring and Indian dishes a bit tired when i ate there]. I think they might obtain their food from another place along the street, but i might be wrong. Not as good or as tasty as the Art Cafe. Tea and coffee okay but not such good value size of teapot a bit small!. - its a shame - as Teapot Cafe is in a great location, and has a good heart. Interesting teapots displayed and nice local staff, so it is a good choice if you want to relax with a newspaper. Plenty of extra seating and tables upstairs.

“Charming little place”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

What a delightful little place Teapot is?! Sure it has a limited menu but if your not fussy you'll find somthing you like.
I had chicken and potatoes...don't be fooled, it's not a roast dinner but it didn't need to be because it was lush! Amazing spicy dish with plenty of flavour!
Even if you just pop in for a cup of tea, it's worth a visit.

“Pleasant cafe in Fort Kochi”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Quaint little place with teapots all around. Limited menu. The chocolate milk shakes were nice and cold and tasty to boot. The peppermint iced tea was pretty good too. The cheese and chicken omlettes were a bit basic though.

“Must visit in Fort Kochi for a cup of Tea...”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

Must visit in Fort Kochi for a cup of Tea...
Nestled in one of the small lanes in Fort Kochi is stunning, unpretentious and laid back Tea Pot cafe. Tea is first garde, the loo is clean, and the kerala fish curry we ordered was first grade. More things can happen over a cup of tea is their tagline, with an obvious but friendly dig at the tagline of an Indian coffee chain. The menu, the staff...and the many decorated tea pots... You will like everything about this place. Must visit if you are spending a day or anything more in Fort Kochi.
