Sheeba and Ash are super welcoming. It's as if they're your friends from way back. They served us chai as soon as we walked in, which was just what we wanted after a 3 am flight and a 2 hour trip in. The rooms are cosy with everything you need. Breakfast was delightful every morning. Great place to stay. "I'll be back" - Schwarzenegger

I stayed 2 nights before leaving India. I chose green woods Bethlehem based on recommendations from 3 different people. Yes it is a bit out of the way but the kindness of the hosts really makes up for it. Sheeba is forever bringing you cups of chai, calling taxis and making arrangements to make your stay easier. The room is wry comfortable with an amazing bed. Also it was spotless. One of the cleanest I stayed in India. Breakfast was good and filling. If I could say one bad thing it's that the cockerel is very loud in the morning- bring earplugs if these things bother you. I would definitely stay there again if I came back to kochi.

Excellent homestay in India. Sheeba and Ashley are amazing and will do anything for you. Breakfast is excellent inclusion and very fulfilling. Good quiet location with easy access to the centre of the city.

We stayed at GWB for 3 nights but wanted to stay much longer. Have never come across such beautiful and generous hosts. Sheeba is immensely kind and generous and no matter how busy, would insist on arranging drivers, cruises etc for us and nothing was ever a problem for her. The breakfast is great, the buildings are surrounded by lush gardens and even the cacophony of the birds early in the morning put a smile on our faces!

We stayed in Room A in the new block, which was very comfortable, the room was spacious and regularily cleaned during our three night stay, Sheeba and her family made us feel very welcome. Breakfast in the morning was good, andthere was something new each morning, the round the clock tea pot was also nice. The house is approx 15 min walk into the heart of the fort, but dont let this but you off. Overall I would def advise on choosing this homestay.

My friend and I (two female travellers) arrived into Cochin very late at night, we were welcomed at the airport by a taxi organised by green bethlehem who was patiently waiting for us despite us being 1/2 hour late.

Arriving at green bethlehem we were greeted by our lovely warm hosts who made us feel at ease after just arriving in India. We spent three peaceful nights here, the rooms were simple, homely and very clean. We especially loved our breakfasts, coconut filled crepes, bananas, hot tea and more served on the top level communal area.

After travelling India for over a month, Green Bethlehem was great value for money and was definitely one of our most enjoyable stays. Thank-you Sheeba and Ashley
