Our driver took us to this spice garden while on visit from our resort to Thekkady. Very educative and well managed spice garden. If you ever visit, look for Dr. Siji, she has tremendous experience in Ayurveda and herself is a Ayurveda Doctor. The quality of spices and Ayurveda medicines are really good which I bought from here. Very well explained by Dr. Siji and really she wont force of try convince you to buy from the shop. Buy what you really want!!!! A must visit if interested in knowing about spices ad Ayurveda medicines.

This 'spice garden' is perched on the mountainside on the road from Cochin to Munnar.
Save your time and what is already a long and tedious journey and avoid this 'attraction'
100 rupees to enter a winding path of around 100 metres - you will be lucky enough to see some very small shrubs and told about their spicy properties. On positive note the colleagues taking you round were lovely, but there's nothing to see!
The point seems to be to get you spend money in spice shop at the end of your 'tour'.
Awful

Visit of spice garden was most educative. Guide was knowledgeable and ensured the visitors enjoy the trip. She made everyone believe that nature has answers to all the diseases.

Beautifully presented garden with a wide variety of spices and medicinal plants. I've enjoyed a private guided tour with detailed explanations. The shop next to it offers the fresh produce of the plantation and the related ayurvedic medical applications... certainly a nice spot to stop by and stock up your spices!
