There are at least 5 attractions in Ramakkal. The first one is the Ramakkal rock, no.2 is the statue on the hill, no.3 is the wind mills, no.4 is the spice and rabbit farms. No.5, but the best, is the top station. You need more time to do the trekking to a very old temple down and then to vineyards.

You need to take a trek through the woods to reach this place and then you will be in Paradise. The Rama rock is another attraction here.

Scenic beauty and stunning views. Good tourist spots like the Windmill farm, The Kurvan Kuruvathi statue and the Rama rock.
The bad part is that this place is really remote, if you are on a tour, this place will consume too much time in travel.

Ramakkalmedu near Kattppana in Idukki Dist is an ideal place to visit and sight seeing. We can see the vast green cultivating lands of Tamilnadu from the Hill. The view of the Tamilnadu nearby Towns in Theni Dist from the heights of Ramakkalmedu top is fantastic. The monument of the Kuravan and Kurthi in Cement erected here on the hillside is a artistic attraction. The silpams of Kuravan and Kurathi are beautiful and handsome and it illustrates the Health of the two couple and the nude child standing close to his mother. The man with his masculine appearace and the woman with her breast exposed attracts every body. I am an artist and I salute the Kuravan kurathi silpam.
