After reading the reviews on the net I thought the place is going to be bad but still we decided to go as it had a swimming pool... after visiting I would say the place is good. The place is amidst coffee plantations so we need to take 5 km drive to the resort by jeep on mud paths... There are no concrete roads but that is what makes the experience unique... A good view from the hill top and you can constantly hear the birds chirping (especially peacock). The rooms are basic but good enough for the price you pay.
The best part of the trip was the visit to the water falls - a 15 minute jeep drive and a 15 minute trek to see a small waterfall, which is secluded and clean. The sunlight falling along the waterfall, surrounded by trees and playing in the chill water was amazing. But this place is not good when you have aged people with you.
Swimming pool is not the cleanest but you can have a good view of the sunset from the pool. Electricity keeps going off and mobile network coverage is not that good (I kind of liked it ;) )... Vegetarian food is not good but the non-veg food was good.
For a 2 day stay this place was fine. Just don’t expect some extraordinary things to do and see...More
