Description: It does not get more romantic than this. An al fresco restaurant perched 200 feet high among the clouds, lit by a canopy of stars and with the beautiful garden city of Bangalore spread at its feet....Ebony had been wow-ing clientele for more than two decades with its eclectic mix of cuisines, un-obtrusive service and unsurpassable setting. Sitting on the 13th floor of Barton Centre on M G Road, the restaurant serves an unusual mix of Pan - Indian and Parsee classics, with a few European and South Asian favourites thrown in for good measure. Ebony celebrates food that is unpretentious in nature, timeless in its appeal and needless to say prepared to ellipse all other senses. With an extensive cocktail menu and a vast number of seating options the restaurant is an ideal choice of an intimate diner, a family gathering or even a corporate celebration. Ample reserved parking for more than 70 cars for dinner means you never have that sticky decision to make. Dinners at Ebony are a la carte, but with a host of custom designed set-course menus to choose from, planning a memorable evening out within a budget was never so easy. Lunches at Ebony between Monday and Friday are the VFM (Value for Money) Executive Lunch buffets. The best of our Indian, Asian and European selections in a buffet spread featuring close to 18 dishes in 4 courses. And all this for an unbeatable price of Rs.395.00 plus taxes and levies. Saturday's are our World on Plate Buffet featuring a truly expansive 5 course buffet with many signature dishes from our Indian, Tandoor, Parsee, European and Asian repertoire. This truly One Size Fits all buffet has something in it for all tastes and all appetites. And at Rs.495.00 plus taxes and levies, there is no better way to kick start your weekend.

If you want some western food they have it but they have a good spread of local food which was really yummy. Get a table outside, the view is good! You can see the tallest building in Bangalore and a parade square etc.

Located in the heart of the city, on MG Road, Ebony is a treat and not just for the food. With its rooftop dining, one gets a good view and a cool breeze to complement the excellent food. Also, it’s the perfect place for that romantic, candle lit dinner. Just in time for the buffet lunch, a sumptuous spread at a modest Rs. 200 per person. We will not go into details of the amount of food consumed or the number of trips to the buffet tables for loading and reloading our plates. But let’s just say that post dessert (which happened to be superb caramel pudding) we knew we would be coming back for more.

I and my wife have been thinking for along time to visit this place, finally we went there one Sunday night. It was cold evening and raining lightly, we called before to book the patio to check out the most talked about view. The view was alright, not that great, but it was a different feeling sitting in patio on 13th floor in the center of city. It was cozy place for couples. It was bit chilly as it was drizzling and they provided shawl whoever needed. The food was great too, in some areas it lacks some variety in the menu. The pasta soup was great, the tandoori chicken was amazing, probably the best I ever had, drink was decent , biriyani could have been better. I think this place is better for starters and drinks than main course. Bit pricey, but good value considering everything. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

highly recommended to go on a nice breezy evening, preferably when overcast! The windy experience will just make your beer better!
view of the vidhana soudha, UB city towers and the entire city is amazing from here, owing to the location of this restaurant on the 13th floor
food is decent but slightly pricey! presentation of the food is good and quantity is satisfactory as well.
avoid going on a sunny afternoon though
