It’s Good place to spend in the evening with family or friends. Very calm and quite place with in the city only. Better don’t spend after 6 pm. Not much crowded. I went with my wife and 3 years old son.

Off kanakapura road, it is a small patch of forest fast being encroached on all sides. There are a large number of building which have come up in the vicinity. It is a calming influence within the city, must visit for the kids.

It is near Kanakapura road which is the only patch of forest left around Bangalore. There's an abundance of Diospyros melanoxylon (Thumri or Hole thumri in native language) species belonging to Sapotaceae family which yields golden yellow astringent- sweet fruits. Apart from that the forest was dry and scrubby.

It is termed as forest, but dont expect a western ghat over there. It's just a diminishing forest in between the concrete forest. Nice place for morning and evening walk. Need to walk for 10 mins. For all age it is recommended.Best to visit sunrise and sunsets. Carry your camera and some water(optional).

It's in heart of the city near to the Kanakapura road. It takes less than 30 mins from silkboard in the morning. Never thought there is such a place in Bangalore. Good for cycling, wakling, bird watching, relaxing, photo shoots etc.

Its a beautiful place
