The hotel is shabby , dirty and looks shady .Please do not go by the pictures on the website .
Service is pathetic ,there was no response to all our complaints about bedbugs,AC bathroom and room cleanliness. We could not spend even 20 mins inside. We booked it through cleartrip and did not get any favourable response or assistance from them .We were left stranded at 11.30 pm at night. Our advise please do not book through cleartrip as pictures do not match the actual hotel and they dont take any responsibility for that. They did not help us in any way.

Horrible, horrible hotel. Yes it is cheap, but that doe snot make it okay. Rooms reeked of body odor and smoke. Bathroom was filthy. My pillowcase had dried blood on it. Frighteningly dirty, and staff is totally clueless. Do not stay here, no matter the price.

I booked a single deluxe room through e-mail and on my arrival was promptly handed the key. After reading some of the reviews here, I was expecting a somewhat below average hotel, but was surprised to find the ambience of the hotel very good.
Location - It is near to majestic but not very well connected by direct bus. However, as Lalbagh main gate is barely 1 KM away, it can be easily reached from anywhere in the city.
Rooms - Generally clean and comfortable although small in size (No rats as one reviewer had posted somewhere). Mattress could have been better though. Rooms were cleaned daily.
Services - Front desk staff generally helpful and courteous. Room service was average (though I didn't use it much)
Complimentary breakfast was good (if you like south indian food that is).
Overall I really liked the place and will have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family

We booked two rooms for only 2 hours agreeing to pay 4k on Dec1. We got a mail conformation 1 week before the travel and also on the day we visited in the early morning (from Mr. Vasu, Manager of the reservations). Once we reached the hotel, they said the rooms are occoupied by some corporate client who has arm twisted them for additional rooms which they had to give on business compulsion. If that is the case, how unrealiable is this hotel? Should they run it for non-corporate customers? Why do they confirm if they cant meet the commitments? Is there anything called coordination in this hotel? First of all its a shady hotel and we have to deal with promises they cant keep. It was totally embarassing to keep my grand dad waiting in the morning outside the hotel. My whole family asked me to rip this hotel apart in my review. Please dont book here.

Rooms are big but Shabby. Illumination is poor. Room service is sluggish and not responsive. The location of the hotel, like all other Nandhini hotels in Bengaluru, is well connected. Precisely, the hotel has lost its shine and activity, which I experienced few years ago.

I had short family trip planned in Bangalore from 29th October to 31st October. We planned to arrive in Bangalore in the morning at 6.30 and were heading back on 31st evening at 6 PM.

I had read some reviews by a visitor who mentioned that while the hotel arranged for an early check-in but they insisted you checkout early morning on the day of the check-out. Was wary about this and discussed it with MakemyTrip advisor, who advised me to book the room until 1st Nov. Besides this I was given the no. of Mr Praksah who was the manager, and I spoke to him a couple of times reminding him about the early check-in, he assured that the room will be arranged.

On reaching on 29th, was pleasantly reassured that the room was available, clean and ready. The bathroom had hot water, and the AC, TV and fridge was all functional. Complimentary breakfast served in the hotel was also good.

We had booked a single room for 3 adults, though extra bedding, pillow etc.. is provided , there is hardly any room to spread it out. Would advice folks to check the size of the room and opt for a separate room if required. Considering the extra adult charge you pay for a double room…the differential isn’t too much.

Unlike other places I’ve stayed in, the room is not automatically cleaned every morning by housekeeping, I think you need to call them to do so. The Nandhini restaurant is conveniently next to the hotel, the food is hygienic however very spicy. So unless you are okay with extremely spicy cuisine you may want to try another eating joint.
Overall the hotel staff was quite helpful and the experience wasn’t bad as I was afraid of after reading some reviews.

Important Tip: be clear on your check-in and check-out time and dates. And talk to the hotel staff before you travel so that you don’t have to wait once you reach there.

Room Tip: If possible take a corner room, away from the main road and check there isn't any construction...

I book this hotel on line. Inquired them about a week before about the booking over the phone and they confirmed me the booking. They had mentioned in the web site that check in and check out time is noon, but on inquiry they informed me that we could use the room for 24 hours from the time of check in. We checked in at 11 pm and we could stay 11 pm on the other day.
We arrived at the Bangalore International airport around 9 pm got a non ac KSTDC taxi from there to the hotel only for Indian rupees 5oo (one hour journey 40km).
24 hour front desk available. good English speaking staff. Room is good. LCD tv with satellite channels, Fridge, AC was there but non of the controls were working but it did not matter as the outside temperature never exceeds 25 even at noon. Hot water available 24 hours but in the night you have to open the tap and wait couple of minutes to get warm water but in the morning no such problem. Linens were clean and fresh. Bathroom was clean and dry with all the fittings perfectly working condition. Bed arm chairs were good. But don't expect to see a good view outside. Although the street in front of the hotel is busy 24 hours it does not bother the occupants. Free breakfast basic indian meal with the option of eggs, omelet, bread milk with tea or coffee. They provide breakfast in the adjacent Nawaratne Hall and it is a clean place. If they offer you a free ticket for breakfast at adjacent Nandhini restaurant *** Please refuse it*** it is a night time bar/restaurant and NOT a clean place for breakfast. They provide an English news paper free of charge every morning. Can find Tuk Tuk Taxis from the parking area to any where of the city. To reach MG road area it takes about 40 minutes and INR 60/= around noon. Basically good place cheap rates and definitely worth the money spent. It is only 15 min walk to Lalbagh botanical garden. There are plenty of good cheap restaurants where you can have descent meals at cheap price. Me and my wife went for AMC (Australian Medical Council) examination at Pearson VUE Bangalore. I paid a tuk tuk INR 60 to get this place took around 45 minutes from this hotel. Advices Never goto Tomas cook India at Bangalore International airport as they will suck around 25% of your money to change it into INR. But unfortunately it is the only place available for this transaction at the airport. KSTDC Taxis have credit card machines. Be careful with customs officials at the airport they are about to charge me INR 4000 on my 5 year old Panasonic FZ 50. Have a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Ask for room far away from road.
