The room was booked for me through the travel desk, post which I was very skeptical due to the reviews I read here.
Well, having no choice, did visit those hotel not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised!! Looks like the management has really worked on the feedback!!

Found the rooms clean, neat and hygienic.
The rooms were comfortable with clean sheets, clean bathrooms and value for money

The overall hotel ended up fitting my requirement of having a nice place to come back to post a day's work.

Overall, a nice experience, which I assume that is because the management team has acted on the reviews here....
Will surely not snap back at my travel desk if they book here again!

This hotel was not prepared for a group of 27 older travellers. After a long trip (close to 24 hours) this was the first hotel we stayed at. There was only one person at the front desk who had no idea how to check all of us in so some of us helped him out. The staff were all pleasant and friendly enough and helped us all with our luggage. The rooms were not very clean. The outlets were not very secure and my plug kept falling out and one of the outlets came out all the way. Scary stuff! I killed a cockroach and the bed seemed to be very dusty. I was afraid to touch anything in the bathroom. The toilet was very close to the glass shower stall so it was very awkward. Was not able to get wi-fi in my room and front desk didn't seem to know how to get me on it. Seems that they wanted an Indian cell number which I did not have. The worst part was that the bottle of water in my room was really tap water and made to look sealed. I developed a sore throat for a few days and some members of the group became very ill with stomach problems.

Room Tip: There's got to be better places to stay at in Bangalore!

Mapple Express is a ginger type hotel.I stayed for one night in this hotel had a good experience. Rooms are very neat and clean. Beds are good with fresh linens. Bathroom was clean with very clean towels. Electric kettle and arrangements for making tea/ coffee was available. A nice working table. As a ginger hotel do not expect room service from this hotel also although they provide room service.

If you are looking for a budget hotel must try this.

The bathroom was dirty, clearly hadn't had a basic wipe-down in at least 10 guests, but I was going to look past the PISS ON THE TOILET SEAT because I was so happy to have arrived somewhere, anywhere after a very long day of travel. The little things annoyed me, but I'd get past it: no western style outlets like you find in comparable hotels, no bottled water in the room.
But then I tried to crawl into bed -- what I found was DIRTY SHEETS, COVERED IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HAIR, AND WRINKLED FROM HAVING BEEN SLEPT IN by the previous guest. This was the last straw - a hotel with such high promises from their website should at least be clean!!
To their credit, they offered to move me to another room, but with one room so utterly disgusting I cannot believe that anything else they have to offer could be trusted.
I immediately checked out, requested a refund, and checked into Keys hotel down the street. Keys is about 500 rupees more per night, but the quality of stay is above and beyond worth it.

Last year when a lot of relatives turned over at our place, we thought of booking around three rooms at Mapple for the extra guests whom we could not accomodate in our guest room. This hotel is very well located & very reasonably priced. Rooms are quite good (though not very big)with clean bathrooms. Food seemed to be ok, also quite reasonable. Parking is a concern though, since they donot have ample extra space. But the best advantage is it's nearness to malls like Cosmos, Inorbit, etc & the volvo bus-stop that's right adjacent. In short, everyone had a comfortable stay.

The place doesnt has a bar which they claim on ibibo. The rooms have much smaller space than the ones shown in pictures. They cheat people by showing different rates of food on menu and then charging something differently altogether. Also they dont mention any cap of free dinner on ibibo for their free dineer, but they claim later that you can have only the cheapest Thali (which is extremely unethical). Even if you ask any assistant to bring even a pack of cigrettes, they ask 100Rs for it. This is apart from the fact that on first day 3 of the waiters asked for tip voluntarily, which was weird. Even for a glass of water, they take 30-40 minutes to deliver in room. DONT GO. Its extremely pathetic hotel to be in .
