On a positive note, this B&B is well located very close to central Bangalore, in a quiet street. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was really comfortable and the place was clean and has a nice homely feeling. I do however feel that for the price, the furnishings were quite old and outdated and was surprised that the room did not have tea/coffee facilities or an iron. Breakfast, which only starts at 8:00am (inconvenient for me as I needed to get to meetings by 9:00am) was pretty average - omlett, toasted white bread and one south indian dish. Given this is Bangalore's only B&B, I think the establishment should pay more attention to providing a breakfast that feels more like a treat. This would have made my stay more enjoyable.

they will take your booking n sell it to someone else. They sold off the rooms i was supposed to rent to other people after confirming my rooms by email. Last minute i had to pay more n find another place. Absolutely rude over the phone & hang up when they have no answer. Absolutely unprofessional & untrustworthy.

My husband and I have just returned from our 2nd stay at Terrace gardens. The first stay was mid Sptember and the 2nd mid October. Terrace Gardens has an excellent location, on a quiet leafy street of large family homes, 1 1/2 blocks from Grauda Mall, and in the other direction, 1 1/2 blocks to the Central Mall.
Madame the owner, is most helpful and careing in regard to her guests. Nothing is too much trouble for her staff to help with.
The rooms were very clean, were nicely air conditioned and have a good size shower and flat screen TV.
Breakfast is served on the upper terrace and is filling with either a vegtable filled omlet and toast, or a daily changing India breakfast like appam, which can also me mixed with the western breakast. Fresh sliced fruit and coffee or tea make it all a perfect start to your day.
Terrace Gardens is very secure, and would be a good choice for a lady traveling on her own.
