Lalbagh looks great during the Spring with lot of colorful flowers in thick green grass carpet. An this is the best time to visit if the main purpose is sightseeing.

All other seasons in an year, Lalbagh is just another average garden. Not maintained well and hence less flowers and greenery. Good only for those who want to have some walking, discussions, etc.

Its a place filled with different kinds of plants and trees. Some trees are even shaped like animals. The world's tallest tree is here. This place also has a deer park and a mini zoo inside. January 26th and August 15th is the only two times a year they organize the flower show.

If you just want to touch all the named visiting places then you can go to this place. Nothing much to see. If you want to choose a place to just sit and talk with your friends or family, you definitely go here. Cheers!

Such a nice garden in a traffic congested city.
This was a pleasant day out and held many different types of rest spots along the way. Kids playing in the park, people sleeping in the shade, eagles flying over head. It was quite a mish mash of nice things in life.

Highly recommended!
