An excellent hotel in its class! Rooms are clean and nice, staff is friendly. The restaurants offers good food, both the breakfast restaurant on the ground floor as the one of the topfloor. The location is great, on short walking distance there are nice restaurants, pubs and shops.

Located in the heart of Bangalore, this 3-4 star property has neat, clean rooms with attached bathrooms fairly well stocked with basic amenities. The complimentary breakfast spread is extensive, though they could have included some more variety of traditional South Indian breakfast fare. I asked for my jacket to be ironed.. it came back looking almost the same as when I took it out from my suitcase!

The Museum Inn is in one of the best locations (right next to all the action) and also a very well-run hotel with good rooms, hot water and perfect service. Every staff member is super friendly and the breakfast in the dining room is the best I had in India. Furthermore, there is a great British Pub on the premises (the Tavern) and a fantastic Chinese restaurant "Red Bamboo Shoots". The chef here is exceptional. I stayed twice at the Museum Inn and like to think of it as my home in Bangalore.

Room Tip: Any room is good.

The Museum Inn is a good choice if you want a place right downtown. It has good amenities, including two restaurants and a pub. All are good, especially the Tavern at the Inn. Great vibe and fantastic staff. Look for Dominic, who looks like an Indian version of John Travolta in Pulp Fiction... lol... Great guy.The hotel is quite well run, with friendly enough staff. My only beef was the 400 rupee charge for wifi.

Musuem inn is in a very convenient location in Bangalore City.

Hotel offers host off eating options from the restaurants and in house bar.

Location is excellent and is recommended to those with business/pleasure in mind.

Next time in Bangalore will definitely stay in this place as it exceed all expectations.

PS: Travel counter is a rip off.

Charged Rs.500/ from hotel to bus stand which was only 10 mins away,

Museum Inn is an oldish property right in the centre of Bangalore. There are not many other similar options (location/price/comfort/facilities) at about 20 meters off MG Road.

The age of the property shows, but does not inconvenience the guest. The accomodation itself is very comfortable and extremely clean, service is top-notch and the hotel is justifiably famous for its 2 restaurants (Red Bamboo Shoots and Angeethi) and one pub (Tavern @ the Inn).

Being in the centre of town has its disadvantages - the rooms facing the front tend to be noisy and exposed to some amount of bright light from outside as the Tavern is a well-patronized watering hole in an area that has an active nightlife. Things arent quiet upfront.

That said, the rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet and as peaceful as any other nearby. Furniture is regularly polished (the varnish is always fresh!) and the rooms - though slightly dated - are kept meticulously clean.

Museum Inn is a small property with not many rooms, but you cant go wrong if you're looking for a hotel in Bangalore that is a stone's throw away from its shopping and downtown areas as well as the monuments and places of interest that Bangalore is famous for.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms at the back of the hotel. Lifts can get really busy at nights, particularly durin...

Hi i have stayed in this hotel found really good and value for money.stayed at Museum Inn for just one night and the overall experience was satisfactory. The room was clean though the bathroom fittings were a bit old. The buffet breakfast was good and they allowed me a late check-out with no extra charge. The location is excellent and it is a value for money place to stay
