Ghati Subramanya Temple is around 38 km from Yelahanka. We went by bike but people can go by bus, auto or train also. Though going by own vehicle must be first preference and taking auto from Doddballapur may be second preference. Temple location is full with scenic beauty and also good for bike riding. Entry for bike is 10/- per day and parking is free in and around temple campus. Temple entry is free but special darshan ticket may be purchased @ rate of 50/- from ticket counter during rush hours for getting fast moving queue. Though maximum times, temple staffs (care takers) try to convince people for paying 50/- to them directly and they won't even provide cash receipt which we should try to not promote. For archana, 10/- normal ticket is available at ticket counter. Temple is renowned for doing Sarpadosha puja and for getting blessings for birth of new baby. As per local belief, one may visit temple for three consecutive Tuesdays for getting any prayer to be considered in front of Subramanya Swamy and Narasimha Swamy. These two Gods are available in a single statue. Subramanya Swamy is visible from front and Narasimha Swamy is visible through back side mirror. Really so spiritual and nice darshan.

Ghati Subramanya is near Doddaballapur and is around 50 km from the Bengaluru. As per mythology, Lord Subramanya slayed demon Ghatikasura, hence the palce fot the name name Ghati. The uniqueness of this temple is that one can find Lord Subramanya, along with Lord Narasimha, so make sure look at the mirror to see the Lord Narasimha. Devotees who have sarpa dosha come here and do naga prathista. Lord Narasimha will reduce Kuja Dosha if one poses them. So its ideal place to get rid of doshas and also seeks lord's blessing. Temple does offer prasadam in morning and afternoon to the devotees. Tuesday are usually crowded here. One will experience peace of mind.

This temple is far off from the city of Bangalore, so going to this temple was really a long drive. But the view before reaching this temple is awesome. You just feel you have come for a vacation. I have gone to this temple twice and both the it was mainly for the view. Outside the temple you will find all the items you will require for the puja. The temple has a specific time for the darshan. We generally used to go in the late afternoon or early evenings. The temple is nice and drive makes it worth a visit
