Surely one of the best hotel 22 acres of plush green hotel in the middle of the city. It's a oasis in the city desert! The villa rooms are the best I've stayed in. Breakfast buffet is the best and surely more than any one can ever eat. Service of course is beyond description! Great viatnamese restaurant Ginger.

This is more of a resort than a business hotel, but worth your business stay since its right in the heart of Bengaluru and one can expect relaxation while on business. The rooms are quiet good though mine didn't have a bath tub. Two swimming pools and surprisingly both were totally deserted despite very nice water. Food options are limited and was an unpleasant experience - even the breakfast buffet had little variety. Spa is almost non-existent and will be a key grouse for biz or lesiure travelers.

This hotel is not what it used to be largely due to the fact that there is a new general manager at the helm infact this hotel has had 3 general managers in over 4 months and hence it is not surprising to note that this reflects in the lapses in service. The rather casual attitude of some of its hotel staff percolates right from the top. my stay was ruined by an assistant manager called rahul and to my shock the general manager of the hotel was defeding him. it was obvious that the general manager of this hotel wanted to protect and shelter his employee inspite of his rather casual.arrogant and indifferent attitude.
Allthough divya from sales did ensure that i was given an upgrade the jacaranda suite which quite frankly was a very nice gesture but i must mention the upgrade was in exchange for my upgrade voucher that i carry as a gold member of the hotels stay and dining programme. special thanks also to dev ghosh my personal butler who was always around to make sure that i had a memorable stay but am affraid much of the hard work put in by divya and dev was negated as some of the other employees at the hotel are not as hard working or as sincere as the rest including the hotel's your general manager .
I am sad to report that my stay was ruined by rahul the assistant manager at mynt as he antogonised me with his rather casual, arrogant and indifferent attitude. i was at the bar with my cousin brother and rahul was standing right at the entrance with another colleague of his and he did not bother to either greet me or handle table reservations on top of which he followed us and told me point blank that non resident guests are not allowed to carry their bags to the bar or the restaurant. firstly, i was not a non-resident guest secondly he did not even bother to check if i was staying at the hotel and when i did tell him i was staying at the hotel he did not even bother to apologise what was even worse was the fact that i had stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions before and hence my credentials were verified and there was no need for all this fuss. i had a similar experience with him on my previous stay and i had mentioned this in my comments card unfortunately i did not know his name back then. on my previous stay he did not even bother to attend to me instead he was busy having a conversation with another butler and i over heard the conversation aswell apparently there was an after party at the ITC royal gardenia and he was discussing that with his butler instead of attending to me it was obvious he was distracted and rather casual in his approach and when i did bring this up with the general manger of the hotel he to my shock was defending rahul and was protecting and sheltering him this means to the general manager rahul is more imporant than a guest like me. the general manager would rather have an employee like rahul at the cost of a guest like me. thegeneral manager was telling me that i had attacked rahul well if rahul antogonises guests like me what do you expect? the general manager also told me that this was not my area of concern excuse me if one of your emplyees antogonises me how is that not my area of concern? its a pity that some of the hotel employees are not what they used to be . with someone like the current general manager at the helm you can be rest assured that i am not gonna be staying at this hotel and the general manager made that very clear by saying AWRITE ,DONE when i mentioned this to him which basically means to him employees like rahul are more important than guests like me unfortunately there are other employees like the present general manager of this hotel and rahul make it a point to ruin all the efforsts of others. finally i would like to mention that i have nothing against the hotel it is one of my favourite hotels in the city considering that is a TAJ property it is that much more special to me but like i said the present general manager and rahul have ensured that this hotel is not one of my favourite hotels anymore and hence i am not gonna be staying at this hotel until the same general manager is at the helm and employees like rahul are around as i believe a hotel is a perfect some of its parts and the employees of the hotel have to ensure that the hotel becomes a sum of its parts. i can without an iota of doubt say that the present general manager is easily and the only general manager with whom i have had an unpleasant experience. i travel often on business and leisure and from my experiences with the general managers at other hotels i can tell that the general manager of this hotel is the worst. i have nothing personal against rahul or the general manager of this hotel but its their rather casual, arrogant and indifferent attitude that ticked me off
This hotel is not worth your time or money unless there is a new general manager at the helm and employees like rahul are not encouraged.

The experience at the Taj Westend has been nothing less than excellent. The location is unbeatable and service exemplary. I stayed in the Executive Suite, which had all amenities that a business traveller can ask for, including personal Steam Sauna in the bath. The food was excellent and the setting of the restaurants and bar breathtaking. Once inside the 20 acre property, you wouldn't realise you are in the middle of the bustling city of Bangalore. The rentals are worth it and I would strongly recommend the hotel for both business and leisure travellers.
