Description: As served in courts and on the battlefield of history, the fare at K & K is a coming together of ancient culinary secrets, long forgotten herbs and exotic flavors to pamper the palate. It presents a symphony of flavorful curries and delicious Kebabs. It is a melting pot of innumerable new dishes which originated throughout Central Asia and ultimately found a home in India. Melt-in-the-mouth Kebabs make their way forth from the restaurant's armoury of clay ovens, Iron Tandoors, Charcoal and 'Pathar' (stone) grills along with rustic 'Angethis' and 'Tawas'. Delicately flavoured Qormas, Qaliyans, Salans and Dopiazas simmered in Deghs, Copper Handis and Cauldrons enliven your meal. The sumptuous fare at K & K comprises a mouth-watering array of Kebabs and a wide range of dishes from all over India. These dishes can be categorised as either Qormas, Qaliyas or Salans. Show kitchens visible from all corners are the highlights of the restaurant where the sights and smells of cooking seduce your senses. Different kitchens work in tandem to prepare a delectable feast of Kebabs, Curries, Biryanis and Desserts. The interiors of K & K reflect the haunting beauty of North Indian forts. A brass motif engraved wooden entrance, Dholpur stone flooring and carved wooden pillars create a look of rugged earthiness.

The ambience is great. Uniquely designed, very welcoming. But didn't find the food too great. Ordered dal, some special Roties, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken. Pretty avg. I'd prefer/recommend Punjab Grill any day- if one is looking to have north Indian food.

We went to Kebab & Kurries on 1st Jan 2013 for lunch. Though we have made reservation but we realized it was absolutely not necessary as their were plenty of empty tables around. The decor was good and cozy and the environment was lazy like some Sunday afternoon. The menu card did not have variety of options as I expected. We skipped the beverage menu and ordered for some fresh lime instead. For food, we ordered Dal Bukhara, Warqi Paratha and Gosht Dum Pukht Biryani. The paratha and the biryani was mildly flavored but nice. The mutton was delicate and succulent. I did not like the dal at all. It reminded of the "maa ki dal" they serve at the small eateries in Delhi. I am not sure if I would like to go back again but definitely I would like to try out "edo" the Japanese resto-bar at the ITC Gardenia. Overall not a bad experience at all.

Kababs and Curries has good food without a doubt. The Dhal Bukahara, and some of the kababs are a real delights, true to the Indian culinary experience.
The ambiance is tasteful but the backless seating very uncomfortable. The management should look at changing this.
The service on one occasion was disastrous. Although the restaurant was only half full, there was no service at our table over the two hours that we were there. We had to try hard to get someone's attention and then, wait really long for anything to come our way. We had taken some American friends out to dinner to give them the true flavours of Indian food and hospitality but the latter was alarmingly disappointing. Even a re-fill of water had to be asked for. We complained the next day and many apologies later we were invited back for a meal. This time the service was not wanting in any way and could not be faulted, begging the question - why is this not the standard? Why is it that after a complaint about really bad service, it improves? But unfortunately only for that particular meal. Because we have been there a couple of times after, and while the service was not as bad as the night that warranted a complaint, it was nothing to write home about either. If the ITC has appropriated a 7 star tag, it should live up to it in all aspects.
The food has not disappointed on any of the occasions. Kudos to the chef/s. However, this is one very unnecessarily pricey restaurant by merit of it being located in the ITC Gardenia. One does not feel that one gets value for money or that the money spent was worth it. - rather one feels indignant and cheated at the exorbitant prices. Given that one is paying for very expensive lethargic service, there are definitely better options available.

Kebabs and Curries is a new Brand of the ITC culinary family also located in the ITC Gardenia, Bangalore ITC's world famous signature dish 'Dal Bukhara' has won accolades in most food shows across continents through its flagship brand Bukhara

This brand serves an assortment of Peshawari. Bukhara and Dum Pukht brands including some of its own signature dishes.

The Murgh Angaar, Dal Bulhara, Murgh Malai Kabab are some of the finest I've ever had.

If you love Indian food, you can't not go to Kebabs and Kurries. If your visiing bangalore for work or holiday, this property is in the heart of the city and is the best hotel in Bangalore followed by The Leela.
