It was one of the best business hotel I have ever been . They were kind enough to take my request of car pick up from airport . Since we we were new to this hotel a lot of apprehensions were there before getting into . To our surprise they had very professional staffs , even the chauffer who brought us from the airport was speaking well in English and kept us telling about the city and hotel.
Lobby was beautiful and we were welcomed in lovely way. We stayed there about 12 days and it was a very spacious room. Price was very decent one provided the standard of the hotel same would have costed us a bomb in similar level big chain hotel in the city.Hotels in this silicon valley are notorious to charge hefty sum in the name of high occupancy & ongoing exhibition & conferences. Internet was complimentary and rooms were brand new as maintained. Morning breakfast spread was good enough to give a kick start to our long haul working day. Being a resident guest we were treated with evening cocktail & snacks as courtesy from General Manager of the hotel. We also met with another guests of the hotel at that place and was good networking. Mostly we ordered room service and chef prepared good north Indian Food. s very spacious and
Overall it was a very nice memory at this hotel. Have already asked my other colleague visiting this silicon valley of India to try this out.

I visited this place in Early Feb 2011. I chose this place to stay after looking at their website and the reviews here.
Looking at their website i was quite impressed with their lobby design and their choice of furniture. Quite retro and stylish. Their Glass bathrooms and loo was another aspect of their design that impressed me. I was hoping that the hotel would be as their pictures suggest and it indeed was.
The room sizes were fine ( cant call it lavish but nothing to complain). The lighting fixtures used in the room were nice and the room was quite chic. My only issue with the hotel was that i had specifically requested for a queen bed and not a twin and it was registered the same way in their confirmation as well. But i was given a twin bed on check in and they said that the hotel was full. Although i was not quite happy with the response i was assured that i would be given another room the next day ( it was a late night check in). As promised i was shifted to another room after the breakfast and things were quite smooth after that.
The buffet break fast was quite good. They have an outdoor seating as well which i should say is nice but is underused probably because its kind of quite open to the apartment building adjacent to it and there is no shield or cover. Decent spread of food for the buffet. I did have use the room service for the in room dining. The food was excellent with good quantity and the prices were apt.
I stayed in the hotel for three days and was well taken care off.The staff were quite friendly. The front desk guys though were not so wonderful in helping me with the directions to nearby places, tried their best and i was happy about that. Its ideally located in the heart of the shopping central of bangalore. A stone throw away from brigade. Hence the commercial street and M.G road are not quite far off.If you are coming to bangalore for sight seeing and shopping then i would definitely recommend this hotel. I do not have any big qualms about the hotel. I would definitely call it worthy for the price ( i got the room on corporate rates). But even other wise if you get the room for anything under 7k to 8k i would call it worthy. On the whole it was quite good experience.

If you stay in this hotel , you should try and book into a suite . I stayed in the hotel on Friday as I wanted a day off from hectic work schedules and wanted to be on my own. I liked the suite , very spacious , bath areas were good . But the size of the TVs in suites were rather too small for the large room and there was no DVD player...small things but overall good value ...my room was not ready on arrival and the front desk tried to be very helpful...not their fault..I took an early morn flight and landed up in the hotel at 11 am... i was willing to wait...but one thing could have been proactively done...i had asked for an airport pick up so they knew exactly what time the guest would arrive at the hotel...the front desk was trying to call up housekeeping and giving them a hard time to get my suite ready as "Guest is waiting"...this could have been avoided as i used the hotel car and they knew that the guest was in their custody since the airport and could have proactively dealt with the situation better...but no issues or hang ups on this front...not a big deal...the food is overall good and the service warm...the morning room service staffing needs to be looked into...i had checked out very early in the morning the next day 5 am and requested for coffee in room ...it took exactly 30 mins to deliver the coffee ( 4 am request , 430 am delivered )... that can be tightened a bit...but overall a decent place to stay and look at the suite option

The Pride wins points for its location in Bangalore. Its a stones throw away from M.G. Road and Commercial Street and located in the Business district. The first look may throw you off because its behind an ugly building but once inside everything changes for better. The lobby is opulent and contemporary but was really busy with people constantly moving about (either checking in or out or simply lounging). The reception staff was quick and effecient with check in and check out but other than that they dont know anything about the city they work in. Despite constant cleaning the floors look constantly mucky in a dry climate. The rooms were delightfully designed and modern. No street sound or noise from nearby school in my room but the biggest turn off was I could hear the slamming and shutting door of my neighbouring room. Woke up in the middle of night thinking someone entered my room when the next room door sounded, not a good feeling believe me. While I love contemporary and am getting used to the new concept of Hotel rooms having open bath areas, really do I want to see someone doing their private stuff?? The shower and toilet are separated by a glass wall and its not frosted either. You can only pull down a screen in the shower and that separate the shower and room!! The breakfast was average. I thought they would serve amazing South Indian dishes but they were really disappointing. Didnt try any other restuarants. Hired a car for some shopping and sightseeing from the travel desk, while the car was good at reasonable rates, the driver seemed to not know anything about the city other than Emporiums!!! The poor guy was constantly confused even if I gave him proper addresses. This despite me asking the Travel Desk person to provide me with a knowledgable driver. Overall good for people visiting Bangalore for a Business or short stay. Wouldnt recommend sharing a room with anyone other than your spouse or partner though unless you are comfortable with showering and using the toilet in prescense of someone else.

The Pride in Bangalore on Richmond road, is a fantastic hotel for short visits to Bangalore. Conveniently located, one can hop across to Lalbagh for a morning walk; the rooms are fantastic and service is pretty good. Considering the location and spacious rooms, the deals here veru much value for money deals.
