The hotel is at a very convenient location. The rooms though smalls are well decked up. The service was prompt. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Gym was well equipped for a good workout. Wide breakfast spread. But the food is pretty expensive if you have to order a la carte.

Dear Guest

Your point of the food has been noted and passed onto our executive chef and am sure that you will find a different in the quality of food on your next visit. As regards to your check out, the room key does get deactivated automatically. However, on your next visit I would like to assure you that you can have a extended stay with the compliments of the management.

We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to Bangalore.

I had stayed in the hotel with my colleague for my business trip. All facilities are good except the size of the room. Its little small.
Breaf=kd=fast was complimentary and food was excellent
I have enjoyed an excellent dinner at their Nawab Restaurant.
In my next visit, I will definitely stay.

After a long time I stayed in hotel in Bangalore, so not sure about tariffs going on in B'lore. But in general at this price Solitaire was ordinary.
AC was not working in room
Switching on lights in room turns out to be a puzzle with lot of exercise.
Breakfast was very ordinary. Waiters were chatting each other and made sure that they dont have eye contact with guests to avoid any orders.
Dont take room on 6th floor and on 7th floor they have kitchen and whole night keep shifting gas cylinders etc and make lot of noise.
Front office people were very efficient and fast.

Dear Sir

“ Your latest comments on trip advisor have been noted and regret that the a/c was not working. As regards the light switches, we are already under process of changing the whole electrical system and making it user friendly. With regard to the staff at the coffee shop, we are already in the process of our training module and I am sure that on your next visit you will find a sea change in the attitude of the staff at the restaurants. Our executive chef has been informed about the noise factor and this will be actioned immediately. We are also in the process of enhancing our breakfast to suit all tastes from guests from all over India and the world.

We do hope to see you on your next visit to Bangalore and do let me know so that I may meet up with you over lunch.

I am glad that you appreciated the services of our front office staff and I shall pass on your compliments to them. “

Regards

I had stayed in this hotel in 2009 and then again in June 2013.
There was a stark difference overall.....
From checking to checkout the place has lost marks on all grounds.
The rooms are not well lit; the fragrances in the themed floors are too strong for your senses.
There is an overall dated, worn-out and tired look to the hotel.
Except for one senior F&B personnel (I don't remember his name) the staff were also not very helpful.
One more thing, you can hear entire conversations of guests in opposite rooms (and so can they!!, if you talk a notch above the whisper level)

Room Tip: Avoid the Blue theme rooms.... Opt for higher floors.... If possible, go for suits

“ Dear Sir

It was a pleasure having you stay with us during your recent visit to Bangalore. Your comments posted onto the trip advisor have been looked into with the minutest details and actually we are already in the process of changing all our lighting system into LED Lights which are much brighter which you may have notice in our public areas.. As regards the worn and tired look, the management has already laid out a blue print for the renovation of the property which would cover all your points mentioned. The staff at the Solitaire undergo intensive training on the various etiquette of the hospitality industry and will be once again be informed during our monthly town hall meetings. However, it was indeed heartening to note that our highest level of service standards met with your requirements. We definitely would love to have you stay with us on your next trip to Bangalore which would give us another opportunity to serve you in the true Solitaire style.

Thanks & Regards.

I stayed for 3 nights in the hotel for a family trip. All the crew members are friendly. This hotel is good to stay, rooms are good, break fast is good. Location is easily accessible. Prices are reasonable.
