One must visit this place and attend the show at their hall showing how the Kargil war was fought. The display of weapons and clothes in winter gives and excellent experience how jawans and officers stay in such adverse conditions

The very first thing to knock you down will be the memorable weapons and letters seized from the PAK army.

aayou will be mesmerised by the way history was created and then depcited for us to experience the truth behing the line of control.

Our soldiers gave up their lives to enlighten our security.

HAIL TO OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS, no words can salute them.

This is the place where you can see all types of arms and ammunition. Also it has a shop of souvenir from which you can also get shawls for ourselves.
The best part of this museum is the view from the back side. The Indian flag with few artificial tanks and behind that the Leh airport.
It gives marvelous view by seeing the Indian flag and planes landing and taking off behind it.

Thanks,
Umang

This museum is dedicated to the martyrs of the Kargil war. And this is one emotional place to be. You take more than 2 hours to see this place inside out and it gives great pride to know what the army has done for this country.

The most emotional things is reading the last letter by a army personnel to his parents and it brought tears to my eyes and all my friends who read it.

Please go to this place and then we may understand what the army does to keep our country safe.

To quote one of the hoarding in this place -

"when you go back, tell your near and dear ones,
That for your tomorrow, We gave our Today"
